The Shadows Know Apr 14, 2020
    Show notes

In trying times, we can always count on our fear of shadow people to supersede other concerns. On this episode they're hiding in basements, destroying relationships, and quite possibly ending up on watchlists. Ever wondered about the efficacy of throwing a gun at a ghost? Listen, and wonder no more.

Also on this episode: Ian got cool, Brennan turned to violence, and how you too can be a superhero at not being a superhero.

Absence Makes the Heart Grow Haunted Mar 31, 2020

This time around we join Idris Elba in canceling the apocalypse by recording this bad boy from 2 separate locations, a first for the show. Time slips, a protective spirit, shadow creatures and a whole lot more await.

This Present Darkness Jan 21, 2020
    Show notes

On our first official episode of 2020 we dive into a huge pile of listener stories and find shadow people waiting in the night, visits from the Sideways People, the hands under the bed, and so much more. We also announce our musical partnership with the annoyingly talented Kevin Eustace!

Also on this episode: the Cardboard Man cometh, rolling ghost, and, in the outtakes, a grave injustice inflicted upon Rod Stewart.

Both the guys were sick in the run-up to this one and Brennan still sounds like ragged hell, but it's still a good time.

    A Very Scary Christmas, Volume 2 Dec 22, 2019
    Show notes

It's the ho-ho-holidays and so we have a very special episode for all of you. Last Christmas we decided to carry on the great tradition of telling scary fictional stories to celebrate the holiday, and this year we're doing that again but taking it to a whole other level.

On this episode we share two tales of horror, one of which is written by Brennan and being heard for the first time. They are both presented as full audio dramas narrated by Brennan and Ian, complete with sound effects and music, with all additional lines voiced by the GSG staff - Anthony, Luke, and Sarah. This is one of the most labor intensive, and rewarding shows we've done, and we truly hope you enjoy hearing it as much as we did preparing it.

Also on this episode: we share a terrifying listener story about a caving adventure, topping the podcast charts (among hosts whose names start with B & I), and the race is on as to who can pay their hitman the fastest.

Our musical guest on this episode is Hexxagram

    Music on This Episode:

Main Theme: "Radio (Into the Darkness We Go)" by Podzontommusic

Stories Theme: "The Future Belongs to Them Now" by Hexxagram

Coming Home Outro: "There Are No Answers" by Hexxagram

    Bumpers: "Shchedryk" by Hexxagram
