    What's Real? Authentic Power Oct 13, 2025
    Show notes

Your emotions are messages from your soul. Learn How to Tune In and Listen Here:

    www.seatofthesoul.com/emotionalawarenesscourse

In this episode of The Gary Zukav Podcast, Gary explores what it truly means to create authentic power. He explains how authentic power emerges from love - gratitude, patience, appreciation, and awe - while external power, rooted in fear, belongs to the old consciousness. Through vivid stories and reflections, Gary reveals how to recognize when fear is active and how to make the quantum leap into love.

Fear and love cannot coexist. When fear controls your choices, you experience pain, judgment, and power struggles. When love guides your actions, you experience harmony, joy, and connection with your soul. Authentic power is not about domination or control - it is about aligning your personality with your soul, moment by moment.

The solution is both simple and challenging: notice when fear is present in your body and mind, then choose to act from love instead. Over time, frightened parts of your personality lose control, and loving parts become your new way of being. This is the practice of authentic power - and it transforms everything.

What You’ll Discover in This Episode:

    • (00:45) — The new consciousness: why authentic power belongs to the emerging world, and external power to the old one.

    • (03:00) — Love vs. fear: why these two states are mutually exclusive and how they shape your relationships.

    • (06:08) — Emotional awareness: how to recognize frightened parts of your personality through physical sensations and judgmental thoughts.

    • (09:02) — The Michelangelo story: how authentic power is like removing fear to reveal the love already within you.

    • (12:04) — The choice point: how to use free will to shift from fear into love in the moment.

    • (17:48) — Becoming authentically powerful: how patience, gratitude, and awe bring your soul’s energy into the Earth School.

    • (20:55) — The soul notebook: how to experiment with insights and discover what’s worth keeping in your life.

    Embrace the Soul Step Challenge:

This week, take out your Soul Notebook and reflect on the moments when you noticed fear—judgment, anger, or impatience—and when you chose love—gratitude, patience, or compassion. Ask yourself: What did fear cost me? What did love give me? Write down what you discover, and choose to strengthen the loving parts of your personality by practicing them in real time.

Is Painful Karma From a Good Deed Possible? Oct 10, 2025
    Show notes

Learn how to connect with your intuition every day. Click here to start your journey to authentic power: https://seatofthesoul.com/daily-intuition-practice/

An unprecedented new consciousness is reshaping humanity, and with it comes a deeper understanding of karma. In this episode, Gary Zukav answers a profound question: If you act with the intention of love but accidentally cause harm, will you still create painful karma?

Gary explains that karma is precise, accurate, and always aligned with the intention behind your actions. Painful karma arises not from accidents but from the fear-based energy that fuels unconscious deeds. If love is the true source of your action, then what returns to you will be constructive and beneficial, regardless of unintended consequences.

The key is awareness of intention. Every word and deed carries the energy of either love or fear, and that energy shapes your experiences. When you choose love consciously, you create authentic power and a life of growth and compassion.

What You’ll Discover in This Episode:

    • (00:22) — What Karma Really ReflectsWhy karma is less about consequences of accidents and more about the intention behind every action.

    • (01:12) — The Role of Intention in KarmaHow the quality of consciousness—love or fear—determines what you experience.

    • (03:09) — Everyday Examples of IntentionWhy even something as ordinary as driving reflects whether you are living with gratitude or fear.

    • (04:00) — Karma as a Spiritual Delivery SystemHow life returns to you the same intention you send out, teaching you exactly what you need for growth.

    • (05:34) — Becoming Conscious CreatorsWhy awareness of your intentions allows you to shape your life and create authentic power.

    Embrace the Soul Step Challenge:

This week, pause and reflect on your daily actions. Ask yourself: What intention is fueling my words and deeds right now—love or fear? Consider moments when you may have caused unintended harm. Instead of fearing painful karma, explore the consciousness behind your choices. Notice how consciously choosing love shifts the energy you send into the world, and how it transforms what you receive in return.

What's Real? Love or Fear Oct 06, 2025
    Show notes

In this episode of The Gary Zukav Podcast, Gary continues his exploration of “What’s Real?” with a focus on one of life’s most fundamental questions: Are you making a conscious choice to live from love or from fear? Through stories, reflections, and practical insights, Gary reveals how learning to distinguish between the two transforms your entire perception and creates authentic power in your life.

Fear often masquerades as reality through worry, jealousy, anger, or the belief that you are incomplete. Yet these are illusions - perceptions created when a frightened part of your personality is active. Love, by contrast, is the compass of the soul. It is expressed as gratitude, patience, contentment, awe, and caring. Learning to recognize whether your experiences are born of fear or love is the key to stepping into the new consciousness now unfolding on Earth.

At its essence, this episode reveals that only love is real. Fear is an illusion. By choosing love over fear—moment by moment—you align your personality with your soul and begin to live from a place of authentic power.

What You’ll Discover in This Episode:

    • (01:11) — The Illusion of AI and Projection: Why appearances like AI or jealousy in others aren’t “real,” but reflections of the personality.

    • (05:36) — Love Is All That’s Real: Why the entire realm of fear is an illusion and love is the only compass that aligns you with your soul.

    • (10:21) — Creating Authentic Power: How aligning your personality with your soul brings harmony, cooperation, sharing, and reverence for life.

    • (15:15) — The Consequences of Choice: How choosing fear contracts and limits you, while choosing love expands your joy, meaning, and potential.

    • (19:32) — A New You Is Emerging: Why the new consciousness reveals your true identity as soul, not just personality, and how this transforms your life.

    Embrace the Soul Step Challenge:

This week, take out your Soul Notebook and write down the moments in your day when you notice yourself acting from fear—whether jealousy, resentment, or worry—or from love—such as gratitude, appreciation, or awe. At the end of each day, reflect: Which choices expanded you, and which contracted you? Over time, you will begin to see how choosing love consistently transforms your awareness and your life.

How Can I Judge in Jury Duty? Oct 03, 2025
    Show notes

Are you ready to live Beyond the Five Sense?

    Learn How Here: www.seatofthesoul.com/beyondthefivesensescourse

An unprecedented new consciousness is transforming the human species, and even everyday experiences can open the door to greater awareness. In this episode, Gary Zukav takes a common situation - being called for jury duty - and explores the deeper spiritual question it raises: Is it my duty to judge my peers?

Gary explains that it is never our responsibility to judge another person. Judgment creates painful consequences for ourselves. In jury duty, however, you are not asked to judge a person - you are asked to evaluate their actions against a specific standard: the law. The larger lesson is to separate the person from the action, responding to harmful behaviors without condemning the individual.

Ultimately, the path of authentic power means experiencing life’s painful moments with courage, while choosing love over fear. This shift allows us to engage responsibly in the world without stepping into judgment or creating new painful karma.

What You’ll Discover in This Episode:

    • (00:22) – Jury Duty and JudgmentWhy serving on a jury is about judging actions, not people.

    • (01:42) – Separating Person from ActionHow Gandhi’s ahimsa shows the power of responding to harmful actions without condemning individuals.

    • (02:30) – Preventing Harm Without JudgmentWhy it’s appropriate to stop abuse, but harmful to judge the abuser or the abused.

    • (03:10) – The Bigger PerspectiveHow unseen circumstances—or even lifetimes—shape interactions, reminding us we never know the full picture.

    • (04:10) – Choosing Love Over FearWhat it means to experience pain deeply, yet still choose love instead of fear.

    Embrace the Soul Step Challenge

This week, reflect on times when you have judged another person instead of discerning their actions. Ask yourself: How could I separate the action from the individual? Where can I intervene with love and clarity, without condemnation? Pause, breathe, and notice how shifting from judgment to compassion changes your experience.

    call to action recording

In this episode of The Gary Zukav Podcast, Gary deepens the “What’s Real?” exploration, turning toward reverence - the awareness that life in all its forms is precious, valuable, and sacred. Beyond appearances, reverence opens us to the essence of others, ourselves, and the world around us.

Reverence is not simply another word for authentic power, though they are inseparable. While authentic power arises from aligning your personality with your soul, reverence allows you to experience life without cruelty, to see its inherent worth even when disempowered. It transforms how you perceive people, plants, animals, and even the most ordinary moments.

At its heart, this episode reveals that love and reverence are what’s truly real. When we move beyond personality-to-personality reactions into soul-to-soul connections, we begin to live with awe, compassion, and a deeper recognition of life’s uniqueness.

What You’ll Discover in This Episode:

    • (00:00) — A New World Emerging: Why humanity is moving beyond external power and into soul-based authentic power.

    • (05:48) — Personality vs. Soul Connections: How to recognize the difference between surface-level attraction/repulsion and meaningful soul-to-soul connection.

    • (09:13) — Seeing the Soul in Others: Why acknowledging both frightened and loving parts in yourself helps you honor them in others.

    • (11:46) — Even Hitler Had a Soul: What extreme examples of human shadow teach us about complexity and hidden loving parts.

    • (14:56) — From Judgment to Reverence: How shifting from personality-to-personality judgments to soul awareness creates reverence for life.

    • (18:13) — Why Reverence Matters: Why life without reverence becomes destructive—and how reverence restores compassion and meaning.

    Embrace the Soul Step Challenge:

This week, take out your Soul Notebook and jot down the insights, phrases, or ideas from this episode that resonated most deeply with you. Each day, reflect on them: Did you experience moments of reverence in your interactions - with people, animals, or even simple experiences? Where did you miss the opportunity to see the preciousness of life? At the end of the week, review your reflections to see how reverence is beginning to transform your awareness.

    Show notes

Your emotions are messages from your soul.

Learn How to Tune In and Listen Here:www.seatofthesoul.com/emotionalawarenesscourse

What does it really mean when we talk about “evil” in the world? In this episode, Gary Zukav addresses a powerful and often-asked question: Are there truly evil people? His answer challenges conventional ideas and reveals why evil is not a “thing” but rather the absence of love, consciousness, and light.

Gary explains that evil is not an independent force to be imprisoned, eradicated, or legislated away. Instead, it is only ever the absence of love - and the only remedy is love itself. When we condemn others, even those we see as hateful, we join them in the darkness. When we choose compassion, patience, and kindness instead, we step into authentic power and contribute light to the world.

Ultimately, Gary shows that the path to healing begins with each of us. By choosing love, moment by moment, we not only transform our own lives but also shape a world free of darkness.

What You’ll Discover in This Episode:

    • (00:42) – What Is Evil?Gary redefines evil as the absence of love and consciousness, not a separate force.

    • (01:42) – Responding to HatredWhy condemning those without compassion only deepens the darkness—and how to be the remedy instead.

    • (02:42) – Why Evil Cannot Be ControlledEvil cannot be imprisoned or legislated away; it can only be transformed through love.

    • (03:28) – Choice by ChoiceHow every choice toward fear or love shapes who we become—and how figures like Hitler came into being through fear.

    • (03:55) – Becoming the RemedyWhy choosing love in your own personality is the only way to contribute to a world without darkness.

This week, notice when you are tempted to condemn or judge others. In that very moment, ask yourself: Am I contributing to darkness, or am I bringing love where it is absent? Everyday choices - especially in business - can feel like a test between protecting what’s yours and staying true to your values. But how do you know if your actions come from authentic power or from fear? In this episode, Gary Zukav answers a listener’s question about dealing with someone who seems deceitful in business. His response reveals the deeper difference between acting from fear and acting from love.

Gary explains that fear always separates - through blame, judgment, or superiority - while love unites and creates authentic power. Even when protecting yourself and your livelihood is necessary, the intention behind your actions determines whether you are contributing to harmony or to painful consequences.

The key takeaway is that it isn’t the circumstance that matters most, but the conscious intention you bring to it. If your actions flow from appreciation, gratitude, and love, you are creating authentic power. If they arise from blame, worry, or judgment, you are creating a world of painful consequences from a place of fear.

What You’ll Discover in This Episode:

    • (00:42) – Fear or Authentic Power?Gary responds to a listener asking if protecting their business and family comes from fear or authentic power.

    • (02:43) – The Umbrella AnalogyDiscover how preparing for challenges, like bringing an umbrella for the rain, can be done from love rather than fear.

    • (03:43) – Closing Your Heart Creates FearLearn why judging or blaming others—even those who may have deceived you—keeps you trapped in fear.

A profound shift in human consciousness is underway. In this episode of The Gary Zukav Podcast, Gary invites listeners to explore what it truly means to live a life of meaning. Meaning is not found in intellect, appearances, or artificial intelligence. Instead, we experience true meaning when we recognize and use the unique gifts we were born to give.

At its heart, this conversation is an invitation to remember that authentic power and true fulfillment come only when we align our personality with our soul. Meaning isn’t something we chase - it’s something we live by choosing love over fear in every moment.

    • (00:00) — A New Consciousness Emerging: Why humanity is moving from a five-sensory to a multisensory way of experiencing reality.

    • (08:44) — Choice and Responsibility: Why Earth School always brings us back to the same decision—love or fear.

    • (11:56) — Illusion of Fear vs. Reality of Love: How fear distorts perception and why meaning only arises when we choose love.

    • (18:05) — No Separation: The realization that there are no “others,” only oneness, and why authentic power is inseparable from love.

We all carry memories of actions we wish we had done differently. The desire to go back and “fix” the past can feel overwhelming - but is that really the path to healing? In this episode, Gary Zukav explores the true nature of making amends and why authentic forgiveness and transformation are always rooted in the present moment, not the past.

Gary reveals how feelings of guilt, remorse, and the need for approval stem from a frightened part of our personality, and why seeking forgiveness from others can actually be an attempt to control how they see us. Instead, he explains that genuine healing begins with becoming aware of your intention now, in this moment.

The power to make amends is not found in rewriting the past - it is a conscious choice of love, clarity, and authentic power today.

What You’ll Discover in This Episode:

    • (00:43) – Do You Really Need to Revisit the Past?Gary responds to the question of whether apologizing for past wrongs is necessary and reframes the true meaning of amends.

    • (01:11) – The Roots of Guilt and RemorseDiscover how guilt, shame, and the need for approval arise from frightened parts of your personality—and why acting from these energies only creates more pain.

    • (01:56) – The Only Question That Matters: NowLearn why the key to healing is not the past, but the present: What intention are you holding in this moment?

    • (02:45) – The Trap of Seeking ForgivenessGary explains why asking others to forgive you can be a form of manipulation—and how forgiveness must come from within.

    • (03:25) – Forgiveness as FreedomUnderstand forgiveness as the release of a heavy burden, like putting down a suitcase full of bricks, and discover how it frees you to live with authentic power.

    Embrace the Soul Step Challenge:
