    On April 23, 2018, a 25 year old man commits the worst mass murder in Canadian history since 1989 by driving a Chevy cargo van down busy sidewalks and streets in the business district of Toronto, striking anyone and everything in his path. In less than 10 minutes, the man takes the lives of 10 innocent victims, and severely injures 16 more. In episode 192, Jac, Alexis, and Billy discuss the Toronto Van Attack, and how one man’s actions left an entire city traumatized.

    Episode 191: Kay Gosewisch Apr 13, 2022

    On July 31, 2020, concerned neighbors contact authorities after not seeing their 73 year old neighbor since mid-April. Mail is piling up, her yard is no longer meticulously maintained, and she’s not answering phone calls or texts. Authorities conduct a welfare check, and find nothing amiss. 19 days later, they’re contacted by the 73 year old woman’s bank - someone has been illegally accessing her accounts. By August 31, authorities finally have enough evidence to enter the woman’s home, but what they found inside was enough to creep out even the most seasoned detectives. In episode 191, Jac, Alexis, and Billy detail the murder of Kay Gosewisch, and try to make sense of why anyone would want to take her life.

    It was approaching midnight on the evening of March 8th, 2004 when Julie realized something was wrong. Her best friend Andrea was supposed to meet her when she was done with work—but she was a no show. In the days that followed, news of what happened to Andrea would spread through Columbus, and a massive search for would ensue.     Episode 189: Sydney Sutherland Mar 30, 2022

    On August 19, 2020, a 24 year old woman goes for her daily run in rural Jackson County, Arkansas. When she doesn’t return home, her boyfriend alerts the police and a massive search begins. Two days later, a man takes his 28 year old stepson to the police station, believing he has information on the woman’s disappearance. After finding blood on the 28 year old man’s truck, police search his phone’s GPS history and find he was in the area when the woman disappeared. Police go to the GPS coordinates, and mere yards away, find the woman’s body buried in a field. The killer says it was an accident that got out of hand, but police say otherwise. What is the truth? In episode 189, Jac, Alexis, and Billy detail the murder of Sydney Suthlerand at the hands of an old classmate, Quake Lewellyn.

    Episode 188: Gary Wayne Puckett, Part 2 Mar 23, 2022

    On September 28th, 1997, a 35 year old woman is viciously attacked in a rest area bathroom in North Dakota. She miraculously survives and provides police with a description of her attacker, who is tracked down within hours. Soon after, authorities realize the attacker is not only a registered sex offender, but also the suspect in multiple Washington state murders. But is the attacker actually responsible for all of the murders? In episode 188, Jac, Alexis, and Billy discuss the crimes of Gary Wayne Puckett and try to figure out if he's a serial killer.

Alice’s husband and daughter retraced her steps and searched for her… later learning that they may have encountered her killer on the trail. Soon after, authorities realize the attacker is not only a registered sex offender, but could be connected to other violent crimes in the surrounding area. In episode 187, Jac, Alexis, and Billy deconstruct the curious case of Gary Wayne Puckett, and the trail of errors that set him free.

    A 22 year old Filipina woman marries a 44 year old Air Force Sergeant. They have three children together, and everything seems fine in the marriage…until the Sergeant almost dies in two separate incidents. The woman now worries she’ll be left widowed and raising three children on her own. She ends her marriage with the Sergeant, and both start fighting for full custody. But years and thousands of dollars later, neither parent has full custody, so one decides to take matters into their own hands. In episode 186, Jac, Alexis, and Billy examine the murder-suicide that left both Kurt and Meriam Kurosawa dead.

    On March 18, 2011, an 18 year old woman goes to a house party with her boyfriend. The next day, her body is found in a creek. Five months later, the killer is arrested, and when the public finds out who it is, they’re shocked. In episode 185, Jac, Alexis, and Billy detail the case of Kathryn “Katie” Filiberti and how her murder affected the small town of Hyde Park, New York.

    Episode 184: Jeffrey Milo Burks Feb 23, 2022

    In 1974, a young man commits a senseless murder, and is sentenced to seven years to life. 10 years later, the man is eligible for parole and is awaiting transfer to the prison where he’ll finish serving his time. But on March 24, 1984, all of those plans are destroyed when two knife-wielding inmates murder another inmate over a personal matter. In 1987, due to incompetence and corruption, the actual murderers are acquitted, and the soon-to-be paroled man is convicted. 35 years later, the innocent man is still sitting behind bars. In episode 184, Jac, Alexis, and Billy discuss the wrongful conviction of Jeffrey Milo Burks, and try to make sense of why he hasn’t been exonerated yet.

    Episode 183: Dee Dee Blanchard Feb 16, 2022

    A woman and her disabled daughter relocate to Missouri after losing everything in Hurricane Katrina. They become local celebrities after residents hear what the mother and daughter have been through. For years, the community rallies around them, gathering donations, organizing fundraisers, and more. Then one day, out of nowhere, the mother is found murdered and her disabled daughter is nowhere to be found. A frantic search for the girl begins, and when she’s found, authorities realize everything people have come to know about this mother and daughter duo is a complete lie. In episode 183, Jac, Alexis, and Billy example what led Gypsy Blanchard to murder her mother Dee Dee.


    BONUS: KILLING TIME- VALENTINE VAMPIRES Feb 10, 2022

    This week the girls and the goth get in the romantic mood and get to the bottom of the dark history of Valentine’s Day! They debate sending carnations in elementary school, buying yourself flowers just cuz….and why is Billy so obsessed with sexy vampires?


    Episode 182: Charlie Oppenneer & Brooke Slocum Feb 09, 2022

    An eight month pregnant teenager and her boyfriend post an ad on Craigslist, hoping to trade sex for cash. A user named “Mike's Hard” reaches out, and they make plans to meet at a local park. The couple leave their apartment and drive to the park, but they never return home. Four days later, the boyfriend is found decapitated in the park, near his abandoned car. The pregnant girlfriend is nowhere to be found. Investigators track down Mike's Hard, but they’re too late - he’s already taken the girlfriend's life, along with his own. But that’s not where this story ends - once investigators step inside Mike's Hard’s house, they discover a scene ripped straight out of a horror movie. In episode 182, Jac, Alexis, and Billy examine the relationship between Brooke Slocum and Charlie Oppenneer, and how they crossed paths with the deranged Brady Oestrike.


    BONUS: KILLING TIME- THE DAY THE MUSIC DIED Feb 03, 2022

    This week the girls and the goth learn about the spooky circumstances surrounding Buddy Holly and the Day The Music Died. They debate bands “selling out”, gen-z TikTok trends, and the atrocity that is fake pockets. Now go throw on “American Pie” for old times sake!


    Episode 181: Alyssa Bustamante Feb 02, 2022

    A 9 year old girl goes to play with her 6 year old neighbor. She’s supposed to be home by 6:00pm, but she never comes back. Hundreds of people search for the girl in 60 acres of dense woods located behind the girl’s home, but there’s no sign of her. Investigators start focusing on the neighbor’s 15 year old sister as a suspect in the disappearance. They bring her in for questioning, and she confesses to killing the girl for a reason that is beyond belief. In episode 181, Jac, Alexis, and Billy explore the senseless and brutal murder of Elizabeth Olten.


    BONUS: KILLING TIME- DANTE'S INFERNO Jan 27, 2022

    This week the girls and the goth go to hell, literally! In this Inferno themed episode, they travel through the 9 circles of hell, and throw out which celebs they’d like to meet in each. They debate the “we need to talk text”, being a traitor to small businesses, and crying on Instagram. Which circle of hell do you think you’ll go to??


    Episode 180: Kaila Tran Jan 26, 2022

    A 26 year old Winnipeg woman leaves her apartment and walks to her car. As she opens the door, she is attacked by a man with a knife and stabbed over 30 times. The attacker flees, the woman dies, and a police search ensues. A few days later, a man calls the police and says he was with the killer when the woman was murdered - she was killed to pay off a large drug debt, and the person who ordered the hit was the woman’s boyfriend. Police arrest the killer and the woman’s boyfriend, but none of their stories add up. Who is telling the truth? In episode 180, Jac, Alexis, and Billy explore what happened to Kaila Tran and try to make sense of why she was the target of such a brutal attack.


    BONUS: KILLING TIME: ONE MORE SONG! Jan 20, 2022

    Episode 179: The Gainesville Ripper Part 3 Jan 19, 2022

    While awaiting trial, Danny Rolling confesses to the five Ripper murders. He sits down with authorities and explains how he brutally murdered the college students in their own homes. Later, Danny pleads not guilty and a trial date is set, but right before proceedings begin, Danny has a change of heart and pleads guilty. He is subsequently sentenced to death, and eventually executed. In episode 179, Jac, Alexis, and Billy conclude their three part series on the Gainesville Ripper, the killer who inspired the movie Scream.


    BONUS: KILLING TIME: OH, THE HORROR! Jan 13, 2022

    This week the girls and the goth take a cute little road trip to the Amityville Horror house! They chat about the mass murder that took place, the paranormal activity that ensued, and who the hell was Jodi the pig??     Episode 178: The Gainesville Ripper Part 2 Jan 12, 2022

    Florida investigators are working around the clock to track down and apprehend the Gainesville Ripper, who brutally murdered five college students over the course of four days. After a few months, investigators find the Ripper…in jail. As investigators get a closer look into the man behind the mask, they discover that he is responsible for many other unsolved crimes including the massacre of a family and multiple armed robberies. In episode 178, Jac, Alexis, and Billy lay out the details of how one of Florida’s largest manhunts of all time led authorities to 36 year old Danny Rolling.

    It’s August 1990, and the fall semester is about to start. College students start trickling into the city, and while they’re moving into their new places, they have no idea that a monster has also moved to town: a serial killer who preys on young, unsuspecting female students. At the end of his four day spree, the killer will steal five innocent lives, and leave a small town drowning in fear. In episode 177, Jac, Alexis, and Billy delve into the Gainesville Ripper, a sadistic serial killer who later inspired the movie Scream.

    Episode 174: Susan Heyliger Dec 15, 2021

    It’s closing time at the bar, so a 42 year old bartender checks the bathrooms to make sure they're empty, shoos the lingering patrons out the front door, then locks the deadbolt. Thinking she’s alone and safe in the bar, the bartender starts her list of closing duties. Then, out of nowhere, a man drops out of the ceiling - he is shocked to see the bartender - he thought the bar was empty. A struggle ensues and the bartender fights hard for her life, but the man eventually overcomes her. The man then robs the cash register and flees. He is not brought to justice for 21 years. In episode 174, Jac, Alexis, and Billy follow the long path it took to bring the killer of Susan Heyliger to justice.


    KILLING TIME: THE STAIRCASE Dec 09, 2021

    This week the girls and the goth talk about Michael Peterson and dive into all of the bizarre theories surrounding Kathleen Peterson’s death. They debate wearing shoes in the house, hot cocktails, and when is the appropriate time to refill the ice tray?


    Episode 173: Irene Katuran Dec 08, 2021

    A woman breaks up with her boyfriend. A month later, she files for a restraining order after her ex strangles her. Not long after, she is found brutally murdered in her bathroom - she’d been stabbed more than 34 times and sustained multiple blunt force injuries. A manhunt for her ex-boyfriend ensues, and he is arrested weeks later - 1,200 miles from home. He claims insanity at trial, but the jury doesn’t believe him. He’s sentenced to death. In episode 173, Jac, Alexis, and Billy explore the murder of Irene Katuran at the hands of her ex-boyfriend, David Gulbrandson.


    KILLING TIME: ANOTHER YEAR CLOSER TO DEATH Dec 02, 2021

    This week the girls and the goth celebrate the birthday of their very own Alexis Linkletter! She takes a trip down memory lane to share some past dark birthday moments, and they debate surprise parties, sharing gift wish lists, and decorating before Thanksgiving.

    Episode 170: Lola Blanc Nov 17, 2021

    A woman of LDS faith is excommunicated from her church. After three years of repentance, the woman moves halfway across the country to Utah with her daughter and sons. In Utah, the woman attends an LDS singles dance, and that’s where she meets a man claiming to be the true prophet. After indoctrinating the woman and her daughter, the woman is forced into sex trafficking, which lasts for months until a “customer” realizes what’s really going on. The “customer” gets the woman out of the horrifying situation, and she and her daughter leave the cult. In episode (170), Jac, Alexis, and Billy talk to Lola Blanc about how she and her mother, Christine, believed in a false prophet, and how that affected their lives.

    A senior in high school suffers an injury that puts an end to his dream of playing college basketball. His life spirals out of control, and one night in 2008, he finds himself pointing a gun at a bouncer outside a Portland, Maine bar. He fires one shot, hitting the bouncer, a sniper with the Marines, in the chest. The bouncer is left paralyzed below the waist, and the shooter goes to prison for attempted murder. While there, the shooter becomes the first inmate to enroll in a graduate program, where he starts a groundbreaking study into rehabilitating prisoners. By 2020, the shooter has made so many strides, that the bouncer supports the shooter’s application for clemency. In Episode 168, Jac, Alexis, and Billy recount the story of Brandon Brown’s redemption after he shot and paralyzed James Sanders.
