On this episode we sat down with Mathieu Nozieres, a French oil painter based in the US with a passion for creating complex narrative oil paintings reminiscent of the Paris Salon painters of the 19th century. We discuss the importance of listening to your inner voice even when your teachers are telling you the opposite, why branding can be useful so long as you're still true to your authentic voice, how to learn illustration techniques to create narrative paintings that look realistic, and why what your art says is just as important if not more so than only creating a beautiful painting. Finally we talk about his current group exhibition at Haven Gallery where both his painting and his wife's painting are hanging side by side for a show called Duality, his upcoming group exhibition with Beautiful Bizarre Magazine happening later this year, and finally he tells us about his new prints coming out soon!

On today's episode we interviewed Eric Armusik, a representational painter with a passion for complex narrative paintings who is seeking to recreate and celebrate the human experience through large renaissance style works. We spoke about the challenges he faced as a budding representational artist in a time when realism was considered to be dead, his incredible passion project in which he's creating 40 paintings depicting scenes of Dante's Inferno, how he sacrificed sleep in order to build his painting career at the same time as having a day job which he was able to quit, and why believing in yourself to take those steps to grow in your career will pay off in the end for you as well. Finally, we discuss how you can become one of Eric's students and learn directly from him from the basics of painting to helping you grow your artistic career!

Today, we sat down with Hillary Scott, a tonalist landscape painter based in Massachusetts. On this episode, we sat down with fellow podcaster and an incredible painter Andrew Tischler. Andrew is based in New Zealand and has been a professional artist for over 20 years. He focuses not only on producing the absolute best work that he can create, but also focuses on helping others learn to do the same through his podcast, YouTube Channel, and Patreon while also balancing his time so he can be present with his family. We discuss the importance of self-development to find your authentic voice, why being moved is the key to moving others, why art created with inner motivation is more powerful than art created from an exterior motivation, and why stepping into different roles can help you move forward in every part of your life.
