    When news started to leak out in December that the Baltimore Orioles would potentially be sold to private equity billionaire David Rubenstein, the first reactions from Baltimore fans were overwhelmingly positive. The same could be said for when it became official last week, including from a statement released by Rubenstein himself. As it happened, he was more than ready for the opportunity, building what would be the eventual Super Bowl XXXV champions from the dusty bones of a franchise that was torn asunder through this moving process. But living up to championship expectations is difficult, and once you set that precedent, there's no turning back.     The Fall of 2006 was a tenuous time for Baltimore Ravens head coach Brian Billick. In just seven seasons on the job, he had seen everything from taking an unheralded young franchise to a Super Bowl, to a revolving door at quarterback, and an ownership change that would severely shake up his professional life. The team’s new owner was a self-made billionaire from unassuming beginnings named Steve Bisciotti, and it was the fact that he and the head coach of his new team were more alike than different that would make their dynamic a difficult one to navigate. Billick’s act was easy to take when the results on the field were positive; when things went the other way, the charm had a tendency to wear off a bit. Bisciotti now had an organization to run, and a lot of important choices to make – in order to find and follow the best path forward for the Ravens, he had to determine whether Brian Billick was actually a great coach, or all (straw reebok) hat and no cattle.     Joining the podcast today for something a bit different is Lee Sanderlin (@LeeOSanderlin), a reporter on the courts beat for the Baltimore Sun. Lee joins Jake to discuss a few different topics, mainly one of the stories he's been following over the past few weeks that's taken a turn for the strange. That would be the saga of Roy McGrath, a former aide to governor Larry Hogan who was scheduled to stand trial for embezzlement and wire fraud, but went missing the day his trial was supposed to begin. He's still yet to be found, and in the time being, an ebook by a mystery author has been released, purporting to tell Roy's side of the story in all that's happened.     March 2nd was an unusually toxic day in the history of Ravens Twitter, something that wouldn't have seemed to matter so much 10 years ago, but now seems to be a relatively important issue. Especially as it relates to how the organizations players feel they're being treated, and when they use the bird app to go and voice their negative opinions in that regard. Three guys very familiar with Ravens Twitter are Jake, Spenny, and Banks who hopped on the mic to recap a wild few days, starting with an NFLPA report that left egg on the faces of many higher ups within The Castle, as well as an explosive tweet from Rashod Bateman that directly called out Eric DeCosta. With the Lamar Jackson saga continuing to drag out, the last thing this club needs is more drama - unfortunately, it seems like they can't avoid it these days.
