*I realized during the show that one of the audience members on the live stream was in attendance. This was a problem as I was going to be talking about something that happened with her daughter when I was driving limo! I got Amanda on the line to break the news to her of what may have been the most awkward thing, ever.

*I continue to fail as a homeowner. I'm pretty confident that the whole neighborhood thinks I'm a total loser.

*I've got the "eye of the tiger" as various audience members think I have no chance of beating Mike Ball in the Grand Rapids half-marathon. I'm going to kick his ass on October 17th. He's in peak shape as of this second as he just crushed the Chattanooga half iron. I've got 20 weeks. I like my chances!

*Speaking of endurance events, 21 athletes died in China during an Ultra-marathon.
