#21 - Naomi Wolf Dec 08, 2025

Show notes

Eric Metaxas sits down with Naomi Wolf to unpack the Socrates in the City gala, the crisis of Western civilization, and why the world they glimpsed that night is worth fighting for. Together they trace how cultural elites, media, and global institutions have undermined family, faith, and free speech for decades, and why ordinary people are finally waking up in America and Europe. From the sexual revolution and feminist debates to immigration, Islamism, antisemitism, and the breakdown of civil society, this is a sober but hopeful call to defend truth, beauty, and ordered liberty while there is still time. #20 - Greg Laurie Dec 05, 2025

Show notes

Eric Metaxas welcomes Pastor Greg Laurie to talk about the viral moment when President Trump told a wedding crowd that Eric is the one who will get him into heaven and what that really means. The conversation turns to the powerful evangelistic crusade Greg just held at UVU in Utah, at the very place where Charlie Kirk was murdered, and how thousands responded to the gospel. Eric and Greg also address the shocking rise of antisemitism, the modern miracle of Israel, and why this moment feels like the last days. Along the way they talk about LDS friends in Utah, revival, bold evangelism, and what courage looks like for believers right now.Sponsors:MyPillow — Save BIG with code ERIC: https://www.mypillow.com/ten Boom Coffee— Save 10% with code ERIC: https://tenboom.coffee/Christian Solidarity International: https://csi-usa.org/metaxas/Legal Help Center - Get Free Legal Help Today: https://www.legalhelpcenter.com/Help Save Lives in Israel Today: https://www.savinglifeisrael.org/

#17 - Dr. Carlos Campo Nov 29, 2025

Show notes

I recently spoke with Dr. Carlos Campo CEO and President of Museum of the Bible on the new extraordinary Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit now on display in partnership with the Israel Antiquities Authority and Running Subway. The exhibition features biblical texts and scrolls from the community at Qumran, as well as hundreds of artifacts. The scrolls provide unique insights into the formation of the texts that make up our Bibles today.

#10 - John Zmirak and Todd Chatman Nov 27, 2025

Show notes

Eric Metaxas begins the episode with Todd Chatman from Christian Solidarity International, who shares the stunning reality that slavery is still happening today in Sudan and explains how CSI has already freed more than 120,000 people. Todd describes how every $250 gift directly rescues an enslaved person and provides the essentials needed to start a new life. In the second half, John Zmirak joins Eric for a sobering look at America’s cultural decline and asks whether we are drifting toward a soft totalitarian state. Zmirak explains how ideology, propaganda, and weaponized compassion are reshaping society and why Christians must recover discernment before freedoms vanish. The episode connects global injustice with domestic cultural decay in one urgent conversation.

#16 - Story of Squanto Nov 27, 2025

Show notes

In this episode, Eric Metaxas reveals the surprising true story behind the Pilgrims and Squanto — a part of American history most people were never told. We talk about God’s providence, the first Thanksgiving, the role of faith in survival, and how the real story of Squanto has been erased from mainstream education. This conversation highlights why America’s origins are deeply connected to the Bible, Christianity, and divine intervention. If you care about truth, history, and the foundations of our nation, you don’t want to miss this.Sponsors:

#11 - Mike Wilkerson | Kevin McCullough Nov 27, 2025

Show notes

At a Mar a Lago wedding for his friend Mike Wilkerson, President Trump suddenly walked into the reception, saw Eric, and told the bride and groom, “This is the guy who is going to get me into heaven.” The clip went ultra viral, and a wave of online critics accused Eric of failing to share the gospel in that moment. In this episode, Eric explains what really happened in the noisy, chaotic room, why he answered the way he did, and how the reaction exposed what he calls a growing Pharisee spirit and an idol of evangelism in the church. He also responds to a recent Tucker Carlson comment about Bonhoeffer and clarifies why Bonhoeffer acted as he did from a Christian ethical framework. Later, Eric talks with groom Mike Wilkerson about the wedding itself and then with Kevin McCullough about Christian Solidarity International and how viewers can help free real slaves in Sudan.
