**The Dwight and Patty Show**

We are Dwight and Patty, as you might have guessed, two people in a. band called, The Wind and The Wave. We used to broadcast live internet “shows” while on tour, usually from a terrible hotel room on a day off. That show was called ‘The Dwight and Patty Show.’ Those odd little moments, almost more than any other, continue to be one of our most requested pieces of content, so we decided to jump into the podcast ocean to see if we could swim. This podcast is what happens when two bandmates talk about their experiences as artists and humans. For those who enjoy what we do, are able and want to support the show, you can do so at patreon.com/thewindandthewave.

*** TICKETS FOR AUGUST 1 LIVESTREAM CONCERT ***

Dwight will be taking a break from the podcast because he’s over hearing himself talk at the moment, and he’d like to focus on The Wind and The Wave’s new group of songs. Patty recorded vocals on the 7 rough demos to share with Patreon supporters very soon!

New tunes with Kelly Jones may be trickling out around December/January. Assuming it would be safe by Summer 2021, we’d love to do some festivals here and overseas with this new project.

What’s with country music performers doing real shows right now? That doesn’t seem safe. The drive-in show format seems cool, but packed venues where crowds of people aren’t wearing masks is irresponsible, and selfish. We all want to do shows, and we’re all here for our fans. It’s just too early for shows. In Texas, virus cases are rising like crazy.

Leave a review wherever you listen to this podcast. If you’e got specific questions or thoughts about the Human Beings Let You Down album or any of those songs, send an email to thedwightandpattyshow@gmail.com for the next track-by-track commentary. Redlining is fascinating and terrible. Oprah is the exception to the rule. Responding to peaceful protests against police brutality with police brutality is moronic. Dwight’s mom sent him the Peace Prayer of Saint Francis. Patty has been doing video calls with the vinyl bundle purchasers. Music collaborations and how that works. Bob Schneider said some really nice things about Patty. Aw! Check out Lonnie’s band South Austin Moonlighters and their new Patreon page for some upcoming videos! What was the lyrical inspiration for “With Your Two Hands?" You have to be WILLNG to change your mind. Parenting and leading by example. Guilty pleasures.
