Where Our Homeschool Kids Are Now:

After this episode, I got clarification on whether there is any association with Bill Gothard. Here is what Alert Academy told me:

I hope you haven't been getting too much flack on our behalf; I did notice you had to record a story about the whole situation. Colonel Boulden asked me to reach out and give a slight correction to your summary, and a few more clarifying details about our relationship with IBLP.

We were started by Ron Fuhrman, who was on staff with IBLP at the time ALERT was started
We became a separate 501(c)(3) organization in the early 2000s
We still rent our campus from IBLP
We do not use any IBLP materials in any phase of our training, and have not for years
