First, Nekias Duncan and Steve Jones react to opening day (and night) of Las Vegas Summer League. They discuss AJ Dybantsa's debut in a showdown against Darryn Peterson and the Jazz, the Darius Acuff-Keaton Wagler duel, the Morez Johnson-Yaxel Lendeborg matchup and much more.

From there, they discuss the latest NBA news. Is the Kawhi Leonard trade actually in jeopardy? What do we make of this massive six-team trade? Have the Jazz done a good enough job of replacing Walker Kessler?

On the WNBA side, the guys have a nuanced conversation about the Las Vegas Aces' decision to waive Chennedy Carter: where communication might've broken down, some of the on-court shortcomings, and why we haven't heard much from the Aces -- at least not yet.

From there, the guys shift to the W as the Commissioner's Cup group play is nearing its end. They discuss the Las Vegas Aces' big win over the Minnesota Lynx to put them in the driver's seat out West, then salute the still-streaking New York Liberty for clinching a spot in the title game.

Finally, they close with a mini-check in on the Los Angeles Sparks. Kelsey Plum is playing at an MVP level, and the defense is quietly making some strides. They've won their last three games; it might be time to keep a closer eye on them.
