Matthew LaCroix (Author/Researcher) The Stage of Time Aug 21, 2020

Show notes

Matthew LaCroix is a passionate writer and researcher who grew up in the outdoors of northern New England. From an early age, a strong connection back to nature was established and built into the morals of his life. His persistent yearning for adventure led him into profound, life-changing experiences that inspired him to write for local and national magazines such as Backpacker and AMC Outdoors.

While attending Plymouth State University, he published his first book at the age of 22 and began studying history, philosophy, quantum mechanics, and superstring theory. His focus became uncovering and connecting the esoteric teachings from secret societies and ancient cultures that disappeared long ago in our past. At 32 he published his second book; “The Illusion of Us”, which combined years of research to discover the truth about history, human origins, as well as the fundamentals of consciousness.

In 2019 he released his third book entitled; “The Stage of Time”, which represented a compilation of ancient texts, spiritual wisdom, and theoretical physics, combined together to find answers to some of our most difficult questions. From understanding the complexities of reality, to lost history, and the identity of the gods of antiquity, no stone is left unturned in the endless pursuit of truth.

Zachary Brown (Visionary Artist) Visionary Voyager Jun 26, 2020

Show notes

Zachary Brown is an artist by the name Visionary Voyager.

BIO-

The basic origins of most of my work lie within sacred geometry, the geometrical patterns that make up the framework for the smallest atoms to the largest galaxies in our third dimensional universe. These geometrical patterns permeate all natural life, and by using them to intentionally create a layout for a painting, I believe that it provides an underlying vibration and frequency that brings spiritual harmony to my work. My conceptual themes are derived from many sources, from archetypal imagery, ancient spiritual texts and practices, dreams and other states of psychedelic heightened awareness. Recently, I have begun creating paintings beginning with randomized textures on a blank canvas with little idea of how the final work will look. By utilizing geometry and keeping a centered intention to let the painting naturally evolve, I pull imagery out of the randomized chaos. This method keeps me painting as much in the present moment as possible, allowing for imagery that is channeled and brought forth from a place of love, and, therefore, taking the viewer as close to that present moment as well. The contrast of the organic to the geometrical help me present the complete interconnectedness of all energy systems, illustrating how all the plants, animals, forests, rivers, and people, are made out of the same forces, elements, and spirit. By taking a moment to notice the divine unfolding of nature around us, we can see the mirror of it within ourselves and others. I hope that my paintings can bring these connections closer together.

Christopher Timmermann (graduate student) DMT Research at Imperial College London May 15, 2020

Show notes

Christopher Timmermann currently works at the Psychedelic Research Group in Imperial College London. He is currently leading a study involving the effects of DMT in the human brain and experience. Studying transitions in and out of the altered state of consciousness caused by intravenous (IV) N,N-Dimethyltryptamine (DMT - a fast-acting tryptamine psychedelic) offers a safe and powerful means of advancing knowledge on the neurobiology of conscious states. The research group investigates the effects of IV DMT on the power spectrum and signal diversity of human brain activity (6 female, 7 male) recorded via multivariate EEG, and plot relationships between subjective experience, brain activity and drug plasma concentrations across time. Compared with placebo, DMT markedly reduced oscillatory power in the alpha and beta bands and robustly increased spontaneous signal diversity. Time-referenced and neurophenomenological analyses revealed close relationships between changes in various aspects of subjective experience and changes in brain activity. Importantly, the emergence of oscillatory activity within the delta and theta frequency bands was found to correlate with the peak of the experience - particularly its eyes-closed visual component. These findings highlight marked changes in oscillatory activity and signal diversity with DMT that parallel broad and specific components of the subjective experience, thus advancing our understanding of the neurobiological underpinnings of immersive states of consciousness. P.D. Newman (Freemason and Author) Alchemically Stoned Mar 24, 2020

Show notes

P.D. Newman is a 32nd degree Master Mason and he wrote a book titled "Alchemically Stoned: The Psychedelic Secret of Freemasonry".

P.D. Newman's bold and daring theory provides a radical interpretation of Masonic symbolism. In the tradition of Wasson, Hofmann and Ruck, in "The Road to Eleusis: Unveiling the Secret of the Mysteries" (1978), and Heinrich's "Strange Fruit: Alchemy, Religion, and Magical Foods" (1995), Newman suggests that practical psychoactive pharmacology, rather than philosophy, lies concealed in the root of some of our allegories and mysteries. Admitting to being more than a mere theoretician, Newman draws from his own personal experiences, and a wide range of sources, in presenting his theory in a logical manner, which merits consideration. - Arturo De Hoyos, 33* Grand Archivist and Grand Historian Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Southern Jurisdiction
