Dime Podcast: Relaunch
It starts simple enough.
You have an idea. It’s a good idea. An idea you believe can go somewhere.
So quietly, you go to work.
Turns out, you were right. It IS a good idea. And people are enjoying what you’re doing. And the idea begins to grow--to expand. And before you know it, you’ve got yourself more than a side hustle; you’ve got a business.
Some people come alongside to help. Then some more. Then a few more. Before you know it, you have yourself a staff, and your staff is calling you the boss and looking to you for guidance and leadership.
It’s all very exciting. Everyone is impressed with what you’ve accomplished. Everyone is impressed with what you’ve built.
The thing is, the work you’re doing now is not the work you set out to do in the early days. Sure, the business is doing that work you knew the world needed, but you, the boss, the manager, the leader--you are not.
This is where Dime comes in.
We can help.
Some of you have been subscribed to this podcast for a while, and for that we thank you, and we know you’ll want to stick with us because we’ve got some brand new content headed your way. It’s been a little while, but we are coming back. We’ve given the show a bit of an ear lift, so’s to say, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
Rob Lott will be your host. We’ll be talking with experts from Dime and beyond, experts that will help us all simplify our business, remove the guess work, and make us confident in the day to day goings on of our business and leadership.
Ultimately, we want to set you free—if you’re a pastor, an artist, an entrepreneur—we want to set you free to do what only you can do.
Honestly, our motivations are just a little bit selfish.
You see, our lives are better when you are free to do what you do best: making music, writing books, loving people, impacting the world. We need more of that.
We want to set you free to contribute in the way that is your best contribution—to your team, to your business, to the world.
We want to do what WE’RE good at so you can do what YOU’RE good at.
It’s a win-win.
If you’re not yet subscribed, please do subscribe. We’ll be here every month to drop some new thoughts on clarifying and simplifying your business so that you can get back to doing what you set out to do in the first place, the thing you do best.
