Detroit Lions 2023 Spring Season Ends
In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Jeff react to the end of the Detroit Lions 2023 spring season. OTAs, minicamp, interviews, all of it gone. Ending like the turkey at the hands of the Bumpuses dogs in, "A Christmas Story." Disaster is ready to strike NFL fans everywhere as just about any positive, meaningful bit of news about fans' teams will simply evaporate. Sure, there will be police reports to discuss, and the standard kind of things that happen when young men with a lot of money get a bunch of free time, there will of course be players spotted working out together on Instagram. The reality - this is the best time for the media to take a break. Resort to talking about themselves, or even getting you to talk about them. Maybe a quick "let's vote on the funniest player name" contest will break out. Mostly its going to be people talking about dopes like the idiot at the Freep that everyone knows is a turd. Worry not, we've got a slate of content on tap to keep you interested, entertained, and ready to go when the Detroit Lions 2023 NFL season gets moving again with the start of Training Camp in Allen Park.
Detroit Lions Podcast Has You Covered
The Detroit Lions Podcast has you covered, not just this week, but all summer long. We've got a lot of great content coming from key interviews with the team, to in-depth analysis on how we see the team evolving into the 2023 season. Before we get too far ahead of ourselves, we need to talk about what's going on in this show! We'll cover the winners and losers of minicamp. What that means and how it sets players and coaches up ahead of training camp. We'll also discuss whether there's anything the "losers" can do to help improve their chances upon their return. We also need to discuss injuries in minicamp and OTAs. What does that mean, how did the Lions fare, and what concerns exist ahead of the break. We'll also talk about bad questions. Like really bad questions. Like having an opportunity to ask a question and freezing, or being so unprepared, or worse, dishonest that one has a genuinely harmful question they fire off. Michael Grey put the shot over the bow, and boy the very next day that dope from the Freep took that and ran in the opposite direction.
