As we await next weeks Season 8 debut, on todays pre-season bonus we hear an amazing tale from one of our listeners, Riley.

It's one of the first things anyone with an interest in the paranormal is told, don't play with divination devices. Tales of "play gone wrong" are as old as the devices themselves, but what happens when you experience an example of this first hand? How does your life change when you open a door to something darkly fixated with you? One listener found out.

Welcome back, to The Dark Paranormal.

On todays show we hear about a tragic event which spawned a lifetime of grief, guilt, and it would appear, the paranormal.

Are vengeful spirits just the stuff of old fashioned ghost stories? Or are there still, in our modern times, spirits seeking out some form of justice? It's certainly a thought that's prevalent to todays experience.

An Unwelcome Guest Jun 17, 2022

Welcome back, to The Dark Paranormal.

Today we ask ourselves the question, why do some people experience one place as haunted, when others will state they've managed to live there without incident?

We see it often with famous cases, how one family experiences literal hell on earth, and the new tenants enjoy a peaceful life, and then claim that all stories prior must be nonsense.

Well perhaps, as we see in this case, there are entities capable of feeding off a certain persons energy. Growing stronger with each exposure to the individual under attack.

Questions abound after this experience, exactly who was the source of the activity? What was the entities end goal? And, perhaps most importantly, exactly what emotional limits are experiencers of the paranormal expected to reach?
