Welcome back, to The Dark Paranormal.

Today one of our anonymous listeners provides us with the experience for Episode 2, and to say they’ve lived a haunted life would be an understatement. Can malevolent spirits, who attach themselves to a house, cause the tenants inside to do sickening things? It would be a hard defence case in a law court. Yet, each and every member of this family experienced the same, chilling thought.

Dark Minisode 34 Sep 17, 2024

Show notes

Welcome, to Dark Minisode 34

Today we hear a tale from a listener who themselves ask the question if this experience is paranormal, creepy, or illustrative of a very damaging upbringing? Or perhaps, as they state, it could be a mix of all 3. Belief in a higher power can help people in all kinds of wonderful ways, but for some, that same belief system can take on a whole different, and menacing meaning.

Stay safe,

Kevin.

Welcome back, to The Dark Paranormal.

In our Season 17 Debut, our anonymous listener sets us up perfectly for what could be our best season to date. We’ve discussed before about land “holding” negative energies, we’ve discussed how some malevolent beings may remain dormant until the “right” people move in, and we’ve even discussed when families have a whispering of some almost cursed lineage… but Todays debut brings all this, and much much more, combined, believe me.

Welcome, to a bonus episode of our Patreon only show, Dark Bites.

As a teaser for our debut episode of Season 17 next week, here is one of our older episodes of Dark Bites. As Dark Bites is more informal, and features the shorter experiences that we receive here, the format is slightly different, more personal, with stories read verbatim as received. I hope you enjoy this bonus in preparation for what is looking to be our biggest season yet.

Welcome back, to The Dark Paranormal.

In our Season 16 Finale, serendipity played a role in switching experiences to the one you’re about to hear. The reason? The feeling this email left me with after only receiving it this week, it made me realise, not every terrifying tale requires things being thrown, and that sometimes, dependant on our mindset, we may be oblivious to the darkness all around us.

*Today’s intro is quite lengthy, as Finales can be, so skip to 8:16 for the experience*

Welcome back, to The Dark Paranormal.

In our penultimate episode of Season 16, our submitter, who wishes to go by “Sam”, talks to us about a life filled with inexplicable occurrences. Although as inexplicable as they seem, they all seem to be orbiting a…something… which has chosen to follow Sam, and seemingly feed off both his, and anyone in his vicinities fear.

The Reluctant Summoner Aug 08, 2024

Show notes

Welcome back, to The Dark Paranormal.

For Episode 8, we have an experience of a sceptical listener deciding to test their own scepticism, rare in itself, however, this sceptic decides to approach this dangerous challenge from a “win – win” perspective. And if there is one thing we’ve learnt from our experience’s thus far, it’s that there are some things you can never “win”.

Show notes

Welcome, to Dark Minisode 32

On today’s Dark Minisode, we hear a trio of tales from one of our anonymous listeners who shares their experiences from different decades of their life. Do some people, as we’ve posited before, have the ability to almost “draw” the paranormal to them? And exactly what was managing to keep pace with a car travelling 65 miles per hour?
