Show notes

Welcome back, to The Dark Paranormal.

This week Jason tells us about his encounter as a youth with an entity who identified itself, merely, as “Glob”. However, despite its seemingly nonsensical name, Globs presence was enough to strike fear into those who encountered it. How was “Glob” removed? Well, the answer may be much simpler than you think.

Listener Dark Minisode:S18 - 6 Jan 15, 2025

Show notes

Welcome to our 6^6h Dark Minisode of Season 18,

Today, our wonderful listener Sophia, tells us of her only, and most definitely unplanned, run-in with anything vaguely paranormal. Is there anything to the idea that in the act of leaving one’s body, occasionally, you can indeed “bring something back” with you so to speak? I, for one, sincerely hope not.

Stay safe,

Kevin.

Dark Realms: Denbigh Asylum Jan 13, 2025

Show notes

Welcome, to Dark Realms: Denbigh Asylum

Today’s Dark Realm lands us in beautiful North Wales, one of my favourite places, and to one of the most thought-provoking Dark Reals, Denbigh Asylum. Designed to “go against the grain” of the typical horrific institutions of it’s day, Denbigh Asylum soon succumb to the same fate as the rest, arguably, a fate worse than any similar institution it aimed to surpass. And along with its demise, came misery, despair, and restless spirits.

Stay safe,

Kevin.

Listener Dark Minisode: S18 -5 - A Victorian House's Secrets Jan 08, 2025

Show notes

Welcome to our 5^th Dark Minisode of Season 18,

On todays Dark Minisode, one of our listeners regales their experiences of growing up in a home environment where the seemingly age-old battle of young witnesses vs disbelieving parents played out. Even though only a minisode, it does through up the question of, when you’re the witness in these situations, just what amount of evidence is needed to make people stop pointing at your “overactive imagination”?

Dark Realms: Cortijo Jurado Jan 06, 2025

Show notes

Welcome, to Dark Realms: Cortijo Jurado

Today we step out of the unpredictable climate of the UK, and head to Malaga, Spain, to take a look at arguably its most famous Dark Realm. Are the tales of ancient satanic rituals true? And if so, do the souls of those sacrifices still make their presence known today? It certainly would appear so.

Dolls Of Possession Jan 03, 2025

Show notes

Welcome back, to The Dark Paranormal.

Today we have one hell of an experience to kick off 2025, and yes the pun is certainly intended. Our listener, Vivien, gives us a retelling of her experiences growing up as a young practicing Wiccan. Vivien's experience proves not every retelling requires dramatic sound effects if the descriptions paint such a vivid image. But also, I feel, or fear, this maybe the tip of a much deeper conversation.

Listener Dark Minisode: S18-4 - Divination Dangers Jan 01, 2025

Show notes

Welcome to our 4^th Dark Minisode of Season 18,

Today, an anonymous listener describes their run ins with the paranormal since a child, and brings forward some very thought provoking theories regarding why the things they encountered may have taken place. There are also some amazing descriptions of what was witnessed which prove that, forgive the pun, the devil is in the detail when it comes to something seemingly innocuous being downright spine chilling.

Dark Realms: Epping Forest Dec 30, 2024

Show notes

Welcome, to Dark Realms: Epping Forest

Today we take a step in to arguably the most ancient of any dark realm we will discuss on the show. In existence long before man began exploring it, the historic, and some would say very much alive, Epping Forest, is a place which has witnessed and arguably felt, practices, tragedies and murders than any other area in England. But is it now home to a collection of spirits and guardians…or malevolence and mystery?

A Diabolical Land Dec 27, 2024

Welcome back, to The Dark Paranormal.

Today we have a slight change to proceedings, as any podcaster will tell you, as a rule we all see a dip in listenership during the holidays, and especially this week. Therefore, I’ve decided to answer the question I get asked most frequently. That being “what is the most terrifying experience you’ve ever come across?” Well, all is about to be revealed, and hopefully it will baffle you as it has me for almost a decade.
