Dax McCarty is leaving the New York Red Bulls and going to the Chicago Fire. The Red Bulls have parted ways with their captain for $400,000. American soccer gets a bad rap. Very undeservedly so. American soccer does not have the 100 year foundation of passionate soccer fandom, so we have to work with what we have. The American game has to be built from within so we have anointed ourselves the disciples of American soccer.
