A.J. and his music got on my radar years ago while on a solo road trip, driving through the mountains of Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana, on a soul-searching journey trying to find my way out of a dark time. A friend sent me A.J.'s album 'Expectations', which I played on repeat for the remainder of my trip. At that time, I never thought I would one day be sitting in the same room with the guy that created the music that had such a powerful impact on me. A.J. stopped by Shaefer Outfitter Studios and I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to pick his brain about his journey as a singer/songwriter and as a human overcoming the challenges of this game we call 'Life'. He closed the show by playing one of my favorite songs, 'Home' from his album 'Expectations', along with a song from his new album, which will be released towards the end of July. t's no secret that by surrounding yourself with the right people and the right environment; you can not only expedite your personal growth but also enhance your chances of reaching dreams you didn't even know were possible. Grateful to have the pleasure of sitting with some of the best to ever climb on a bull. JW Hart, Ross Coleman, and Aaron Semas; all three recipients of the PBR Ring of Honor. Along with their good friend Kelly Barker; who brought an interesting perspective and insight being present throughout their bull riding journey. I'm not a bull rider and I know very little about the sport, however, it's not necessary to understand what these guys were talking about during this interview. I could feel the intensity of their energy as they shared their mindset and swapped stories about performance and life. What I learned from our conversation yesterday is that a 'winning mindset' isn't something that can necessarily be taught; only experienced, through repetition, overcoming failure, and consistent practice. And, by surrounding yourself with others that have a no-excuses mentality and a winning attitude will enhance your ability to adopt the same mentality I'm beyond grateful to share time with these elite athletes and to get a glimpse into how their mind operates. 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁: 𝗢𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗘𝗢 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 ( @schaeferoutfitterusa ) I'm glad to have crossed paths with Rick last year and I'm proud to call him a friend. It was great to have him on the show and to hear his journey as an entrepreneur; from taking over Schaefer Outfitter in 2001, to what he's doing with the company today, and the ups and downs along the way. Rick's razor-sharp business acumen, his focus on creating quality clothing, along with his passion for the Western lifestyle are some of the key components to his continued success along with the success of Schaefer Outfitter, in my opinion. I'm excited to share this one with you all!

On this episode, I sit down with Cas Haley. Cas is a husband, father, singer/songwriter with 6 albums out. Cas and his reggae-inflicted music first appeared to a national audience on Season 2 of America's Got Talent in 2007, where he came in 2nd place. Nominated as best reggae rock entertainer in 2013 for the International Reggae and World Music Awards. In 2020 Cas was the grand prize winner of Lincoln Motor Company's 'Chart Your Course' contest with his winning song 'Every Road I'm On', which is on his latest album 'All the Right People'. Cas is, in my opinion, one of the 'good guys', with a beautiful soul and a talent that has had a positive impact on others throughout the world.
