584: The Post-Human Apocalypse Sep 26, 2023

Show notes

In Episode 584: The Post-Human Apocalypse we sit down with Timothy Alberino to explore the intricate web of transhumanism, alien encounters, and the future of humanity. Timothy's latest book, "Birthright," serves as the focal point of the discussion. Timothy paints a vivid picture of the Faustian bargain, striving for a post-human existence through advanced technology and genetic modifications. As we explore the convergence of transhumanism, UFOs, and aliens into a new religion called "apotheotheism," we contemplate the possible emergence of a golden age on Earth, where gods walk among humanity, all while grounding the conversation in the importance of instilling faith and understanding in the gospel of Christ as an anchor in the face of these impending changes. Timothy Alberino navigates the complex terrain of transhumanism and its profound implications for the future of humanity, all while shedding light on the spiritual aspects of this technological journey.

582: Wendigo Woods Sep 19, 2023

Show notes

In Episode 582: Wendigo Woods we jump into a night of terror in the Wisconsin wilderness. Jon, our guest, recounts a harrowing night spent camping with his brother and friends near their parents' home. As darkness cloaked the forest, they found themselves ensnared in an otherworldly encounter, face to face with glowing white eyes believed to be the dreaded Wendigo, a creature steeped in Native American legend. Stranded without flashlights or weapons, their desperate attempts to drive the entity away led to a series of unsettling events that defy explanation.
Jon's gripping narrative unfolds with vivid details, sharing their heart-pounding experience, the puzzling stick structures discovered the following morning, and the unsettling encounters witnessed by their youngest family member back at their house that same fateful night. Today we take you on a journey into the mysterious and supernatural, as we explore a dark presence lurking within the depths of the Wisconsin woods.
In the Overtime segment, Jon shares another of his extraordinary life experiences, this time focusing on a downtown Milwaukee building that became the epicenter of their urban exploration adventures. With his brother AJ by his side, they embarked on what seemed like the perfect exploration mission, an old, abandoned building void of recent human presence. Yet, from the moment they entered the sole entryway, a sense of unease gripped Jon. As they ascended through the building's interior, a realization set in – something was profoundly amiss. Jon takes us on this mind-bending journey, as he vividly describes a possible accidental foray into another realm, where they found themselves peering through a window at the very building they thought they had entered. This Overtime will surely leave you with more questions than answers.

Member Preview | 581: Edge of Darkness in Cuiaba, Brazil Sep 14, 2023

Show notes

In Episode 581: Cuiaba's Edge of Darkness, we are joined by Rick as he recounts his unforgettable four-month journey that unfolded in Cuiaba, Brazil, back in 2007. Residing near an abandoned Umbanda spiritist center, Rick's tale begins with the eerie sound of a phantom drum playing in the dead of night. However, that was merely the start of his harrowing experiences. Rick shares an encounter with an insectoid alien in the confines of his own room, a disturbing attempt at abduction. He also shares how he narrowly escaped not one, but two murder attempts: one involving an armed individual near the center and the other instigated by a man who believed people were trying to expose his infidelity. He also reveals his experiences with spirits in his room and a mysterious individual from the center, who has a bizarre backstory. Rick brings us an episode that will leave you wanting to know more about the edge of darkness in Cuiaba, Brazil.

580: Disturbing The Upside Down Sep 12, 2023

Show notes

In Episode 580: Disturbing The Upside Down we are joined by David who unravels an experience he went through that seems to have echoes of the popular show "Stranger Things." David had reached out to the show to tell of a disturbing incident from his high school years in Trinidad, Colorado. He shares that he and a group of friends had dared to enter the abandoned Catholic school, unwittingly unleashing an unknown malevolent force that would soon plague them and those connected to them.
The situation grew so dire that it ultimately required the intervention of a specialist recommended by the Catholic Church. This expert was brought in to reinstate the boundaries and restore a sense of control over the malevolent entity that had been unleashed. Today we talk about this situation and the aftermath of an exploration gone awry, where the line between reality and the supernatural blurs in "Disturbing The Upside Down."
