Here we go. It’s time for the TCGS Game of the Year Draft 2020.
So who chooses what? Does someone grab someone else’s game? And did Farley manage to pull off a better strategic pick than 2018’s Detroit: Become Human? Let’s find out.
And because it’s our final regular episode of the year before next week’s GOTY show, we answer your feedback, questions and more.

We’re starting to settle into next-gen, but there’s still lots to discuss like the PS5 launch being the biggest console launch in history, Sony teasing news on a Game Pass competitor (Anyone remember PlayStation Now lol), Microsoft acknowledging performance issues, and Super Nintendo World opening in February 2021.
Meanwhile Mat’s back on Hades, Sean unknowingly trolls some helpful people in Sea of Thieves, James feels like Miles Morales has ruined other games, and David’s still loving Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. All that plus the usual nonsense you come to expect from this show.
Games discussed: Sea of Thieves, Star Citizen, Hades, Super Mario Bros. 3., Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War, FIFA 21, Tetris Effect: Connected, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Sack Boy: A Big Adventure, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood.

There’s also a ton of news, including vaping Xbox consoles, an incoming Halo Infinite update, Capcom getting hacked and Twitch being rubbish yet again.
All that plus Sean threatening people, more washing up debates, Christmas decoration compromises, and more.

James is back! But David’s away as he’s taking a much deserved break.
Fear not, because there’s plenty to cover including the Xbox and PS5 reviews, tons of feedback, Mass Effect trilogy remasters, Sega selling off its arcade business, ridiculous outfits and turning classic Christmas tales into video games.
It’s worth noting that we recorded this episode on Monday, a day before the Xbox launch, so no new console impressions this week. Come back next week for those hot takes.
Games discussed: FIFA 21, Star Trek Bridge Crew, Super Mario Bros. 2, South of the Circle, Knack 2.

James is still away, but things are a lot more sensible this week as we discuss Nintendo’s final Partner Showcase of the year, Cyberpunk and Destruction All-Stars getting delayed, directors leaving games and some sad news about those unofficial PS5 flaps.
Elsewhere, the boys discuss Mat’s recent P.T. stream, what’s happening with our GOTY show, Christmas content ideas, keeping fit in VR, and daily routine mini-games.
Games discussed: P.T., Super Mario Bros., Pacer, Spider-Man, Super Mario Galaxy, FitXR, Hyrule Warriors 2 demo, Pacer, CUE.

James is away on business, leaving David, Sean and Mat to run rampant.
Naturally it gets silly almost immediately, but we still find time to discuss Halo: The Master Chief Collection getting some nice Xbox Series X upgrades, custom PS5 flaps going on sale, and rumours about Xbox streaming sticks and 1 vs 100 possibly returning.
There’s a little bit of what we’ve been playing, then we fall into a deep conversation about social media habits, hate-fuelled rages, and atrophied bodies, like you do.
Games discussed: Hades, Spider-Man, Genshin Impact, Super Mario Bros., Ghost of Tsushima: Legends.

There’s also listeners pretending to be other listeners, gaming advent calendars, a Honda Jazz in space, and more!
