We all struggle with a scarcity mindset. But the gospel compels us to move from fear to faith, as Jesus calls us to leverage our time, talents and resources for His glory.
“His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’” — Matthew 25:21
We live a world gripped by fear and uncertainty. But when we experience storms in life, we can find our security in Jesus, the Prince of Peace.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. — Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV)
Prayer can feel complicated, but Jesus says it’s simply this: children reaching up to their good Father. In this episode Pastor Joby examines one of Jesus’s most profound and powerful teachings on prayer.
“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” — Luke 11:9
