What is My Purpose? What do I really Want? These questions led him on a journey of Self discovery that would ultimately liberate and awaken him to a place of wholeness he had never know before. Jonathan Verderame graduated from Palmer College in 2012, and self published the Straight Chiropractic Textbook while he was a student. He was the president of the largest, international, professional chiropractic fraternity, Delta Sigma Chi, has been awarded with research honors, the Outstanding Graduate Award, and was a finalist for the Virgil Strang Philosophy Award at Palmer College. Jonathan is in private practice in Norway, and is one of the first chiropractors to work in hospital in Norway.

Dr. Chewpa was born and raised in Ottawa and did his undergraduate studies in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo. An avid hockey player, Dr. Yurij was injured while playing in a varsity game with the Waterloo Warriors. The team chiropractor saw him and had him back on the ice quickly and stronger than ever. Even though Yurij’s academic interests were in human science and health care, he had never considered Chiropractic as a career. After this experience he realized that Chiropractic was the right choice for him.

Dr. Chewpa graduated cum laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 1986 and moved back to Ottawa to start a practice while also completing a 3 year post graduate specialty program in Sports Sciences. In 1990, he received his fellowship designation from the College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (F.C.C.S.S. (c)).

Dr. Yurij’s practice philosophy focuses on changing the world by inspiring patients of all ages, who are sick and have lost hope, to achieve optimal health through structural, functional and wellness family chiropractic care. When I was born doctors predicted I would not to survive past birth because of a rare bone disorder that stunted my growth and caused my bones to be extremely fragile. Despite these challenges, I’ve taken a stand for a quality of life that has reached millions of people around the world, including Sir Richard Branson, President Clinton, and his Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.

I’ve appeared on everything from The Oprah Show to Youtube videos with millions of views. The Biography Channel did an hour feature on my life called, “Three Foot Giant.”

My message has been heard at live events in over 15 countries and 47 states over the past 16 years. My latest book, “Get Off Your But” has swept the US and been released in over a half dozen languages around the world.

As a board certified therapist, I use humor and compassion to develop a fun environment where individuals open their hearts and minds for lasting empowerment to occur.
