    The Taliban has total control over Afghanistan after the terrorist group seized the Presidential Palace in Kabul. The Afghan President gave up his power to an interim government led by the Taliban commander. The world is watching in shock as the situation escalates faster than we imagined. CBN News Contributor Chuck Holton is on The Daily Rundown today to break down what's happening in Afghanistan. It may come as a surprise that there's another country out there committed to biblical values. Hungary is a powerful example of what it means to live in unapologetic defense of The Great Commission. Hungary re-established the nation's Christian identity when it adopted a constitution in 2011 that's consistent with biblical teachings. The government established a national-level office in 2016 to support Christians suffering for their faith around the world. Hungary's Secretary Azbej began a national program called ‘Hungary Helps' to support the spread of Christianity around the world.     Afghanistan is in freefall. In just the last 24 hours, the country's second and third-largest cities have fallen to Taliban insurgents. The capitol city of Kabul isn't directly under threat yet, but on Thursday the US embassy urged all US citizens to leave the country immediately. Senior international correspondent George Thomas says this Taliban takeover has been years in the making. He's on today's CBN News Daily Rundown. Another big story from this week: The FDA says some Americans should get a third COVID shot. This, as the Delta variant spreads rapidly across the country.
