Notice something a little different with the Carpool today? That's right, the new cover art is here and, we won't lie, it's pretty great! From a picture taken in a basement with no makeup, to this professionally shot photo, Kelly and Lizz sure are moving on up. It's the first part of a big week for the Car Mom with a ton of content to be created thanks to friends who are creating little ones of their own.

There are a lot of things in the works at the Car Mom and the biggest one might be from Kelly herself. She's been experimenting with something for the last five weeks and she's finally ready to tell the world about it. What could it be? She has changed the order of how she gets ready in the morning and she's sharing what she has learned to help us all get our routines right.

Lizz is on a journey of her own inside The Loft. She spent a good amount of money the other day there attempting to freshen up her wardrobe. However, was there a day she looked down on shopping at The Loft? Or is that just Kelly misremembering her own self-loathing?

The biggest journey lately for Lizz has been, of course, her pumping journey. Last week she got emotional talking about the amazing support she received and this week she is sharing a big update. Thanks to @onewiththepump she has discovered she had been doing it all wrong and things are looking up! She learned two very important lessons from this journey that we can all take into every aspect of our lives. 1) Be careful who you take your advice from. 2) You can say "I could never" but you only quit when quitting is an option.

Then, Kelly and Lizz are bringing you their Model Lineup of the most satisfying feelings. Is there anything better than the feeling of going to bed with clean sheets? How about the feeling when all the kids are asleep for the night? It's time to debate the most satisfying feelings!

In Industry News a warning on the toll road scam everyone is getting. How many texts have you received this week? Plus, the ladies talk about late-term buyer's remorse and what really might be going on. Could all you need is a car wash?

Finally, Kelly is continuing to cook gluten and dairy free items for her family and got the best suggestion - keep it super simple or KISS. But Kelly and Lizz may have just taken it up a notch with KISS A**.

TWISTERS, AIRPORTS & BREAST MILK Mar 20, 2025

Twisters, power and internet outages meant no podcast on Tuesday, but Kelly and Lizz are back and ready to get into what's been going on. First, Kelly is recapping her family trip to Arizona. "It's an easy three-hour flight!" Not so much when you have four kids in tow! When did families lose the respect on planes and kids are considered an inconvenience? Kelly and Lizz have some hot takes on traveling with your kids that they need to share.

Then, it's time to catch up with Lizz and baby Sloan's formula intolerance. They finally got a diagnosis on exactly what is going on and this is going to be more difficult to navigate than anticipated. What makes it harder is Lizz's breast milk supply is going down and when that's all Sloan can take it's become pretty stressful. Luckily, Kelly and some other kind souls have come to the rescue! There will be some tears shed during this conversation.

To lighten the mood, Kelly and Lizz take you into their bank accounts with Last Three Transactions. Kelly started with buying the $8 wifi on her flight, which ended up costing her much more after all the online shopping! Easter pjs anyone? She has also continued on her press-on nail journey and is now venturing into the world of red sneakers. Lizz is investing in many items to help Sloan's feeding journey including a new breast pump, nursing bras and a bottle warmer. Plus, she's getting ahead on the summer rush and braving the bathing suit section at Old Navy.

In Industry News, Kelly gives her review on the new Hyundai Santa Fe. Did they have enough room for the entire family and all their luggage? Not so much. Also, ever wonder what would happen if you got to empty on your gas gauge? Car and Driver put the Toyota Grand Highlander to the test to see how many miles they could actually get when it says you have zero miles left.

Finally, in Ditch the Drive-Thru Lizz is all about the viral beef bowl trend while Kelly fills us in on what she is cooking on her Blackstone!

BRING BACK THE VW BUG Mar 06, 2025

What is your earliest memory? That is what Lizz and Kelly are talking about today on The Carpool. For Lizz, it's her and Kelly playing with their imaginary friends who also happened to be big brothers. You always want the sibling combo you don't have. Kelly's earliest memories are of preschool and the spot to be was the peanut-free table. She perpetually had a peanut butter sandwich and was persona non-grata with the cool kids. Does she still harbor a bit of resentment? Don't even ask about the apples...

Kelly is headed off on a family vacation with a Hummer and it got her thinking about cars that no longer exist that definitely should. The internet seems to be ravenous for a Ford Excursion. Kelly and Lizz's big prediction? We could be seeing a new Volkswagen Beetle hitting the market again! Slug bug!

While Kelly is enjoying a vacation, Lizz will be back home working on sleep training Sloan. This leads to a discussion on the pressures of parenting thanks to social media. There are so many opinions coming from us at every angle, how do you decide what is right for you? It's time for a return of mother's intuition!

What were the lessons your parents taught you as a kid? Kelly has two stories her father told her that she refers to daily. This is how she learned to not be afraid to ask questions and that just because something is always done one way doesn't mean it needs to always be done that way.

Before they leave, Lizz has a new random fact of left handed vs. right handed vs. ambidextrous. Kelly has a random fact on vertigo... Well, more like the fact that she has vertigo.

CAMP PHINEAS AND FERB SLAPPED! Mar 04, 2025

It's a new week and spring is in the air! Well, at least it feels that way for the Car Mom... Before you know it though it will be summer and you have to figure out what to do with your kids while school is out. That is currently the journey Kelly is on as she decides if she wants to send them to daycare or camp. Unfortunately, there is no Camp Phineas and Ferb like the one the ladies ran when they were kids. That's right, Kelly and Lizz ran their own week long summer camp when they were teenagers made them some bank! Could this be your side hustle this summer?

Speaking of things from the Disney universe, neither Kelly or Lizz have ever been to a Disney park but they feel like they could be Disney adults. They're both into the Disney adult content creators and have a love for the High School Musical soundtrack. Maybe one day?

Lent starts this week and Kelly and Lizz are getting ready to give something up for the next 40 days. This year not only are they giving something up, but they want to do something to better themselves before Good Friday. But the real best of lent season? The fish fry!!

It's been a while since Kelly and Lizz checked in with their bank accounts for Last Three Transactions. Kelly is getting ready for a family trip to Arizona by stocking up on Tea Collection clothes for the kids and lots of activities and toys for the plane. Plus, she got some Crocs for herself and she's very excited about it! Meanwhile, Lizz has had her life completely changed thanks to the Haakaa breast pump and the Athleta pale yellow collection.

There are two juicy stories in Industry News. First, Carvana is making moves into the franchise business with the purchase of a Stellantis store. Then, why the Honda and Nissan merger may be donezo!

MODEL LINE-UP: TRAGIC DISNEY DEATHS Feb 27, 2025

Being sisters is fun. You can get into a blow out fight and then immediately turn around and record a podcast! Getting glammed for photo shoot day has left Kelly and Lizz a little stressed but the results will be more than worth it. Shout out to press-in nails!

Kelly's dream came true this week when she was mentioned on "The Toast." Now she is shooting her shot and reaching out to get them to be a part of the Car Mom. Will a car consultation for "The Toast" be in the future?

Today on the podcast Kelly and Lizz are premiering a new segment - Model Line-up! They'll debate on what or who would be on a Mount Rushmore of a certain topic. For the premiere they are taking on a very controversial topic: tragic Disney deaths! Which ones will be the most legendary and go in the Model Line-up?

Speaking of family cars, a listener is looking for advice on what to look for as she transitions from two to four kids. Influenza A has hit the Carpool and Kelly and Lizz Have lives to tell the tale! All the kids were sick at one point or another as were the parents and their experience has changed their brain chemistry. Will life ever be the same? Will they ever have the energy to work out again? Go to the grocery store? But the good news is that they are on the other side of it and took a copious amount of notes to help YOU prepare for the next flu season!

Not only is it flu season, but it's also dinner auction season! This is Kelly's favorite time of year and she managed to pull herself away from the house of illness long enough to get to her first dinner auction of the year. What did she leave with when left alone with an auction paddle?

New segments are coming to the Carpool podcast! Kelly has two she is pitching today. One is called "Year/Make/Model" and another is yet to be named but inspired by the "could be the move" trend on social media. Lizz has an idea on how to change up the Great Eight inspired by Mount Rushmore.

The ladies also need to talk about the Poppi controversy. When the brand sent a ton of influencers Poppi soda lending machines it caused quite the stir on the internet. Kelly and Lizz talk about what went wrong and brands that do it right when it comes to influencer gifts.

In Industry News, Kelly has exciting news for fans on the Hyundai Palisade. There is a hybrid option coming but not to the US... yet. Stellantis is trying to sway customers back to their brands and the Ram Super Bowl ad with Glen Powell is already seeing great returns.

Today in the podcast, Kelly and Lizz are giving their reactions to the Super Bowl and the real star of the show - Kendrick Lamar's jeans.
