And if you were awake somewhere between midnight and sunrise, you might turn the dial and hear a voice coming out of the Nevada desert talking about UFOs, shadow people, secret government programs, cryptids, and things that couldn’t be explained.

That voice belonged to Art Bell.

Art gave the unexplained a home. He gave ordinary people a place to tell extraordinary stories without being laughed off the air, and somehow made millions of listeners feel like they were gathered around the same late-night campfire.

Campfire Cult exists for many of those same reasons.

So tonight, we’re paying tribute to the man who helped shape modern paranormal culture and spent decades asking the question that keeps all of us coming back: “What if?”.

Some places are haunted by a story, but Marley Woods seems to be haunted by a pattern.

Deep in the Missouri Ozarks, witnesses have reported glowing orbs drifting through the trees, massive creatures moving in the darkness, shadowy figures, missing time, dead batteries, and the unmistakable feeling that something in the woods knows they’re there.

Bigfoot researchers have reported creatures, UFO investigators have seen strange lights, and others have experienced missing time or the sensation of being watched. Maybe these are all separate phenomena, or maybe they’re connected in ways we still don’t understand.
