Thanks to a special opportunity through FLATSIXES.com, I was able to have a telephone conversation with Mr. CJ Wilson, pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and team owner of CJ Wilson racing. This weekend, his racing team is introducing a new GS class Porsche 997 race car for the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge with drivers Marc Miller and Tyler McQuarrie.
I spoke with Mr. Wilson about his car, his drivers, and his future ambitions for the team. We also spoke about his penchant for Porsche road cars and his personal history with the brand. He's a true enthusiast, and it was a lot of fun talking to him. Thanks for the opportunity, CJ!

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to go to the California bay area to spend the day with Alex Ross of Sharkwerks fame. I was there to record video and drive the now infamous "Sharkwerks GT2" with visual touches by Magnus Walker. An ex-pat computer nerd, Mr. Ross came over here as a journalist, and eventually moved into the Porsche performance game because that's what he was passionate about. Sharkwerks has slowly morphed into one of the leaders in the Porsche tuning industry. Their quality parts and performance upgrades have gained a great deal of notoriety.
