We're coming down the "home stretch" of Negro History Month 2024, and non-white people in the US region may get out February without catastrophe. Kaylin Lavena culled the spirit of Carter G. Woodson when she queried human resources on her job as to why her White male coworker earns $3 more per hour than she, even though they have the same title. Lavena recorded the exchange with her employer's human resources department and uploaded the footage to social media. Gus does not recommend posting audio/video recordings of workplace exchanges to social media. Race Soldiers are known to retaliate. People in position to hire you in the future may find this content as well. We also hear about widespread layoffs in industries across the globe. Some folks in the tech sector admitted to being laid off twice within the last 12 months. Gus has been asking listeners to locate the "love" in this narrative. Maybe you can help us locate the "family" in all this too. All of the murdered non-white children - including Devonte Hart - were abducted from the state of Texas. In the time we've been reading this book, the Texas Child Welfare system has been fined and charged with wanton neglect - including 49 children dying while in foster care over the past 4 years. Gus suspects most of those 49 fatalities were non-white children. Last week, we heard more details about Tammy Scheurich, the White biological mother of Hannah, Abigail and Markis. This drug addict, school drop out White Woman is presented with the Queen's English. The complete opposite of the incoherent Negro dialect of Dontay and Nathanial Davis that Asgarian highlights. As Gus suspected earlier, we're told Tammy's White family is Racist, but we're given no details about how they practice Racism. This week, readers found out that Jen & Sarah Hart made time to find a "no-kill animal shelter" for their hounds. While the pets survived, the 6 non-white children were poisoned before being driven off the cliff. White Mendocino County enforcement officials worked vigorously to avoid using the term "murder" when describing the carnage. Dr. Joy Boulamwini visits Town Hall Seattle (in conjunction with Third Place Books) to discuss her 2023 publication, Unmasking AI: My Mission To Protect What Is Human in a World of Machines. Dr. Joy is a Rhodes Scholar, as in African Race Soldier Cecil Rhodes, and was the focal point of the 2020 documentary, Coded Bias, which examines how the System of White Supremacy is manifest in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence. She discussed some of the more recent cases, including the arrest of privileged black male, 42-year-old Robert Julian-Borchak Williams. The attempted black father of two was snatched from his front lawn and arrested in front of his offspring - just like the character Maverick in The Hate U Give. Detroit, Michigan enforcement officers used facial recognition technology to "identify" Williams as a watch thief. Turns out the technology makes a lot of "false positives" when it comes to identifying dark faces. Dr. Joy also mentioned the case of Porcha Woodruff, who also lives in Detroit. Just like Mr. Williams, Detroit enforcement officials used facial recognition technology to pin a carjacking caper on Woodruff. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of terms as tools to reveal truth, neutralize Racists/White people. #ANTIBLACKNESS The Kansas City Chiefs triumphed in Super Bowl LVIII and returned to Missouri to show off their back-to-back gridiron/brain damage championship. During the parade jamboree, a dispute erupted between a group of juveniles, and they commenced to shooting. After the smoke cleared, 1 person was dead, non-white female Lisa Lopez-Galvan, and 22 others were wounded from gun fire. Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes and other players had to duck for cover and shield small children from bullets. Importantly, the mayor, black male Quinton Lucas, attempted to pass gun regulations in 2023 to help curb gun violence in the KC metropolitan area. Violence that especially devastated young black males in Missouri. Mayor Lucas was out-muscled and overpowered in these efforts by more powerful White politicians. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly forum on Neutralizing Workplace Racism 02/16/24. We're in the thick of Negro History Month, and the foolishness and phony ceremonies to honor dark folks are in high gear. Apparently, some of our listeners were once again roped into a workplace project associated with our black cultural heritage. We'll hear if it was productive. This week also featured a number of strikes from news journalists, flight attendants, and Uber and Lyft drivers. Ride share operators scheduled their strike for February 14th to disrupt the "romance" of the so-called holiday. And since we're still in the middle of presidential election season, Gus still recommends that non-white workers avoid discussing any of the candidates or any other component of the "race" with your White or non-white employees. Your political views will not earn you a raise or a promotion. We also hear from a non-white, non-black health care worker (so called Native American). She talks about how even on the Indian-owned hospitals, Suspected Racists cause mayhem and abuse non-white patients AND staff. Ilyon Woo, non-white female, visits Elliot Bay Books in Seattle, Washington to promote her brand new book: Master Slave Husband Wife (2023). Gus T. learned about this book when searching for books published the previous calendar year. Woo's work of non-fiction made a number of lists for best non-fiction of the year. The book examines William and Ellen Craft, a pair of 19th century black slaves in the state of Georgia. Ellen Craft is the product of rape and has a White father. Consequently, she is pale enough to be accepted as a White person - so called "passing." After years of White Terrorism and torture on a Georgia slave plantation, William and Ellen take 4 days to concoct an escape plan. Ellen uses her lack of melanin and a fancy pair of pants to fake being an elderly White Man. William is "his" faithful negro slave, and the courageous pair makes haste for the so called north. Woo gives lots of details - including the northern speaking tours William and Ellen gave with the fellow slaves and orators Frederick Douglass and William Wells Brown. Even once the two were miles from the plantation, they could be stolen at any time. And because melanin deficient Ellen is "White presenting," her being married to dark-skinned William means that northern Whites often think she's a 19th century White Woman shacking up with a negro male. While an audience of millions takes in the brain damage of Sunday's gridiron madness, Baltimore mourns the local Raven's missing out on the big game and former prosecuting attorney Marilyn Mosby being convicted for mortgage fraud. Following her perjury conviction earlier this year, Mosby could be sentenced to 30 years in federal prison. In Kansas City, Daysheion Renee Ponds, a 25-year-old black female, was brutalized by three White KCPD officers while viewing the Chiefs triumph over the Ravens during the NFL AFC Championship game just days ago. Ponds was viewing the football contest at a bar, and a dispute arose about the tab. In New York City, more details have been released about the beheading of Kawsheen Gelzer. The dismembered remains of the privileged black male were kept in a freezer and refrigerator for almost two years. The most powerful White Man at WWE and professional wrestling is facing damning allegations of sexual misconduct in the workplace. A former WWE female employee accused Vince McMahon of taking lewd photos, encouraging her to engage in sexual activity with other WWE employees and his personal friends, and coerced her into performing a "threesome" with McMahon and his physical therapist. McMahon allegedly defecated on her head during the sex act. While reviewing data on the large number of reports of workplace retaliation and Racism in the state of Georgia, Gus T. learned that EEOC mostly serves to vet which allegations have enough evidence to warrant further scrutiny. Gus has been asking listeners to locate the "love" in this narrative. Maybe you can help us pinpoint the "family" in all this too. We're nine chapters into Asgarian's narrative on the mass murder of 6 "adopted" black children by two lesbian White Women. All of these children - including Devonte Hart - were abducted from the state of Texas. In the time we've been reading this book, the Texas Child Welfare system has been fined and charged with wanton neglect - including 49 children dying while in foster care over the past 4 years. Gus suspects most of those 49 fatalities were non-white children. Last week, we read the 7th chapter, titled: "Playing The Food Card." Gus noted that Asgarian fails to put this title in quotes, even though this is a critical response from Sarah Hart when Hannah's teacher reports that she's not been eating. 5 of the 6 non-white abducted children fell well below the growth levels for their age group when tested by doctors - evidence that they were severely malnourished. But the doctors reported nothing wrong. When neighbors and educators raised warnings and called child welfare, the White lesbian duo easily lied and thwarted all concern. They even ignored calls visits and calls from social service workers for weeks.
