Introducing Afloat, the stress-free way to send gifts with Founder, Sarah-Allen Preston Apr 28, 2022

Show notes

This episode is sponsored by Afloat, gift-giving on demand. Send gifts from your favorite local stores to the people you love, all on the Afloat app.

We strive to make life easier for you by introducing you to local businesses that you will love. Today, we are introducing you to Afloat - a convenient way to send gifts directly from local stores.
Sarah-Allen Preston, CEO and founder of Afloat Life, joins the Bubble Lounge to share the incredible story that inspired her to create the app.
Like many of us in the Park Cities, Sarah-Allen knows that sending the right gift at the right time is important for building and maintaining relationships with the people in your life.
Unfortunately, it takes a lot of time to hunt and find the perfect gift; especially if you want it from one of the many unique boutiques and specialty stores we have in our neighborhood.
So she created an app that makes it simple to find what you need from local merchants and have it delivered on the same day.
Imagine the convenience of having the perfect gift delivered right now, presented in a beautiful package and not some Amazon box!

We think you will find Sarah-Allen's story and the product she created to not only save you time but help you build and maintain relationships with the people that you love.

The worst serial killer in Texas you never heard of - An interview with Robert Riggs - True Crime Reporter Apr 21, 2022

Show notes

In this episode, Robert Riggs, Executive Producer of Freed To Kill (Fox Nation TV Series) and the True Crime Reporter™ podcast, shares the story of one of the worst serial killers in US history; Kenneth Allen McDuff.
McDuff, a Texas native, was sentenced to death in 1966 for the brutal murder of three teens in Tarrant County. However, he was released from prison in 1989 and continued his brutal killing spree across Texas. But that's not all.
The search for McDuff exposed corruption and incompetence throughout the parole system in Texas, resulting in dramatic reforms.
And Robert Riggs brings this all together in a compelling story that is now a 5-part TV series on Fox Nation - Freed To Kill.
Robert Riggs is a prolific storyteller in the spirit of fellow Texan Taylor Sheridan the creator of Yellowstone and 1883. Robert’s Webby Award winning podcast was the inspiration for the 5-part TV series where he serves as the host of the show and Executive Producer.
