The BROWNS NOTE PODCAST, EPISODE 47: Matt Waldman Mar 08, 2018

Show notes

As Eddie Vedder once said: This one's for the serious collector. Longtime Sickness favorite Matt Waldman (@MattWaldman) joins Ryan Burns (@FtblSickness) to talk Browns and ball. We chatted for a couple hours, and there's something for everyone- philosophical origins, operations analysis, evaluation process, old school Browns-related war stories...and of course: the incoming rookie offensive skill players. Matt's focus for his Rookie Scouting Portfolio every year, he brings some of that goodness to the audio menu here at the Browns Note. Enjoy!

The BROWNS NOTE PODCAST, Episode 46: WTF Do You Mean, "Pass On QB?!?!" Mar 03, 2018

Show notes

No. Sincerely. WTF do you mean? You'll have to wade through a half hour of small talk to get to the good stuff, but the rants on the "pass on QB at 1 and take him at 4" concept kick in about 2/3 of the way through and carry it home. Go Browns. WOOF.

The Browns Note, Episode 45: Welcome Back! Feb 14, 2018

Show notes

After a year-long hiatus, the Browns Note is back. We figure covering the debacle that was 2017 in about 20 minutes at the outset is way more tolerable than living through it in full stereo week after week. And, since it has been a year, we felt free to ramble on inexcusably. Two hours of Ryan Burns and Brendan Leister talking Browns football, with heavy attention paid to the quarterback position, as ever. Come for the lucid takes on the Haslam era, stay for the QB discussion. GO BROWNS. WOOF!

Ok, so maybe it hasn't been all redemption and rose petals. But there are a couple of silver linings in the trash cloud, and we'll try to point them out to you. It's the least we can do. Get your helmet and dog biscuits. We're gonna need 'em.
