I am often asked to compare the 2016 election to another in history. 1912 comes to mind, as does 1860 or 1896, but the one that is closest at least in relation to the moral compass of the nominees is 1884. The corrupt James Blaine was nominated by the Republicans. Clinton and Blaine have much in common. I explore this issue in Episode 37. It will make you seem smarter if you listen.
