    Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has lifted his new team to a 10-5 record and a NFC playoff berth. After beating the Falcons 31-27 on Dec. 20, the Bucs routed the Detroit Lions 47-7.     Falcons move up in draft after 17-14 loss to Chiefs Dec 28, 2020

    The Falcons moved up to the No. 4 spot in the draft after losing 17-14 to the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. The Falcons had their opportunities to win the game, but went on to lose their seventh time this season by six points or less. "We can play with anyone," rookie cornerback A.J. Terrell said. Also, Pro Bowl kicker Younghoe Koo and interim head coach Raheem Morris stop by to discuss the defeat that dropped the Falcons to 4-11 on the season.

    Falcons' McKay discusses the GM, head coach search Dec 23, 2020

    We did a quickie preview of the Chiefs' game in order to hear at length from Falcons president Rich McKay who revealed that Raheem Morris will get an interview to become the head coach. He also discussed his hiring record which includes Hall of Fame head coach Tony Dungy and Bobby Petrino and the only three coaches in franchise history with winning records in Jim Mora, Mike Smith and Dan Quinn. He also reveals how he assures candidates that he won't get in their way.

    Falcons blow two 17-point leads in loss to Brady, Bucs Dec 21, 2020

    The Falcons came out strong. They jumped out to a 17-0 halftime lead. When the Bucs struck back, the Falcons answered initially. But over the course of the game, without a running game and as injuries started to mount in the secondary, they couldn't keep up with Tom Brady and wide receiver Antonio Brown. The Falcons dropped to 4-10 on the season and have the 5th spot in the upcoming draft.

    Superstar quarterback Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-5) are fighting for a playoff berth in the NFC. They are 2-2 in the NFC South and 5-4 in the NFC. The Bucs defense, which sacked Matt Ryan 12 times and hit him 28 times in two games last season, is the No. 1 ranked run defense in the league.

    After going 12-4 and looking like a Super Bowl contender, the Los Angeles Chargers have hit some hard times. Since the 2018 season, the Chargers have posted a 8-20 mark and coach Anthony Lynn is on the hot seat. The Chargers are 3-9 this season and have lost six games by one-score. They let go of the rope last week and were blown out by the New England Patriots, 45-0. However, if the Chargers can fix their special teams woes, they could present a difficult challenge for the Falcons.

    Falcons pummel Las Vegas Raiders in grand style Nov 30, 2020

    The Falcons and their 29th ranked defense stood up and held the Raiders to the season-low 243 yards and created five turnovers in the 43-6 win on Sunday. Linebacker Deion Jones returned an interception 67-yards for a touchdown and defensive end Jacob Tuioti-Mariner turned into a force with a sack, strip and two fumble recoveries. It was easily the team's most impressive win of the season.
