Seattle Morning Radio stars, Bob Spike and Joe are back with a weekly podcast, and their unique take on everything.

Latest Episodes:

Bob and Zip Show with Ed Kelly – Feb 17, 2021 Feb 17, 2021

Show notes

Ed just parted with a vintage piece of electronics that has sentimental value, and he feels a sense of loss.

Bob bought a 1947 Ford once, not realizing that antique cars should belong to someone who knows how to fix cars.

Rick Lovrovich of Apple Jam is our special guest… performing this weekend at a virtual Beatles Convention.

Spike just took on a job that makes him sound like a Republican… and Joe wants us to record a song about teachers needing vaccinations. It’s a tall order, since we need a choir of kids to sing it. Stay tuned.

Bob and Zip Show with Ed Kelly – Feb 12, 2021 Feb 12, 2021

Show notes

Bob, Spike & Joe talk for a solid half hour with Kaci Aitchison, on being our Newsgal and Cohost, quitting, then becoming the Q13 Fox Morning News Anchor. She’s now with Valve Software, quickly becoming a Video game PR star.

We try to cover as much inside baseball as listeners have requested, plus the behind the scenes story of her silly viral video clip that made the internet explode. Try to play along and draw a cannon, while we relive it. There’s also the very touching story of her journey to motherhood.

Bob and Zip examine Justin Timberlake’s apology. Should we cut him some slack?

Andrew Rivers joins in from a Marriott Hotel in Oklahoma, where he’s planning his television debut on the Bachelorette.

Lisa makes a rare appearance with motherly advice.

And a triple shot of Kaci singing with Spike & The Impalers!

Bob and Zip Show with Ed Kelly – Feb 10, 2021 Feb 10, 2021

Show notes

You’ll get a charge out of Bob Zip and Ed talking about electricity, and how all of the big tech companies are becoming media empires and banks.

But don’t touch that dial, you’ll love Spike’s parody of Bruce Springsteen talking about his Superbowl Commercial.

Joe is about to head back to full time in person teaching- damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!

And we plug a Mom and Dad with their own YouTube channel: The Holderness Family.

Bob and Zip Show with Ed Kelly – Feb 5, 2021 Feb 05, 2021

Show notes

Bob has 2 TV shows you should binge. One will raise your consciousness about a tough part of the world where conflict mining occurs (think Blood Diamonds, only this is something every man woman and nearly every child in America uses every day without knowing people die for it). The other is a brilliant light hearted comedy that’s as brilliant as Forest Gump and witty as Dumb and Dumber.

Zip is having trouble with Verizon customer support, if you could call it that.

Andrew Rivers thinks his Ex is about to be kicked off The Bachelor.

We close with the most viewed Twisted Tune of All Time.

Bob and Zip Show with Ed Kelly – Feb 3, 2021 Feb 03, 2021

Show notes

A High School Girl gets tasered. Is that an automatic bad thing, or do the circumstances matter? Bob Zip and Ed each see it differently.

We’re trying to wean ourselves from Politics, not very successfully. Anyone else trying to quit cold turkey?

Spike solves the “teen” taser problem, and Joe describes his iron-clad Covid avoidance strategy.

And Big news: Kaci will be on the podcast soon.

Bob and Zip Show with Ed Kelly – Jan 29, 2021 Jan 29, 2021

Show notes

RobinHood the sequel in 2021 is not a movie. It’s a stock trading app that lures you in.

GM changes its logo, and says it’s going to go all electric right away… as in 2 decades from now. This has combustion engine lovers feeling jilted.

Andrew remembers when his dad taught him a valuable lesson.. And Spike needs a dog to cheer him and Melissa up.

We welcome new Patreon supporters, and close with a classic Blue Oyster Cult live recording from Bob’s Garage.

Bob and Zip Show with Ed Kelly – Jan 27, 2021 Jan 27, 2021

Show notes

Now you have to wear two masks? Does it feel like the number of us trying not to get Covid is shrinking? We interview a doctor from a small town that boasts a 100% vaccination rate.

A show Bob highly recommends on Apple TV, “For All Mankind”. It’s a different kind of historical drama. What if the Russians landed on the moon first?

Plus Spike and Joe riff on Tom Brady and the need for more Internet.

And we shout out this week to many of our long term Patreon supporters… special features coming soon for those of you who sign up.

Bob and Zip Show with Ed Kelly – Jan 22, 2021 Jan 22, 2021

Show notes

What a difference a day makes. Bob and Ed reminisce about Radio’s Golden age – happy and upbeat radio jingles. It was a peaceful medium before talk radio turned it into a giant food fight.

Dr Fauci joins in as he can finally speak his mind…. and we are adjusting to the new political landscape as President Biden takes over. Do you think he has trouble sleeping?

Spike’s new Twisted Tune gets a spin, comedian and Covid Super-spreader Andrew Rivers makes a gentle dead grandma joke. It’s not as bad as it sounds.

Bob and Zip Show with Ed Kelly – Jan 20, 2021 Jan 20, 2021

Show notes

It’s Inauguration Day, 2021, and we’re hoping for peace and healing.

Ed has his harmonica, and we can’t help but sing.

A mega merger has created the world’s 4th largest car company: Stellantis.

Just when we were hoping to be less divisive, the Vaccination Envy has begun.

Downtown Joe weighs in (literally) on why he should be vaccinated pronto, and Spike does a sketch that literally has tears streaming down our faces.

Bob and Zip Show with Ed Kelly – Jan 15, 2021 Jan 15, 2021

Show notes

Tonight we find out that Ed Kelly grew up poor. Not “We only had 2 televisions poor.” It’s a touching side of this famous voice actor that his family couldn’t afford to go to the movies. So he never saw Mary Poppins.

Bob explains why he easily relates to very stupid people.

And Andrew Rivers is having fun watching his “Ex” on The Bachelor. Why he thinks she will win.
