E29 - Sonic 4 Episode 2 (15th October 2017) Oct 29, 2017

Show notes

Hey, it's an improvement right?! Sonic 4 Episode 2 was the unwanted sequel to the unwanted sequel upon release, which sounds like a recipe for success if you ask me. More important than all of this though (according to Discord) is the one question you should always stop and ask: "Did Sky Fortress Act 2 make the cut?"

E30 - Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed (22nd October 2017) Oct 22, 2017

Show notes

Although it went down well with SEGA fans and its dedicated fanbase, Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing wasn't quite as earth shattering as SEGA had hoped it would be. Instead of hiring a different studio, SEGA placed their full faith once again in Sumo Digital to produce the goods as they had time and time again, resulting in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, often considered to be one of the most skillful kart racers in existance. More important than that is what does PT and our Discord server think?!

E28 - Sonic Generations (1st October 2017) Oct 01, 2017

Show notes

E27 - Sonic Colours (24th September 2017) Sep 24, 2017

Show notes

No matter how you spell it, Sonic Colo(u)rs was considered at the time to be Sonic's return to form, a game to smash through the shovelware of the recent years, but does that stance still hold up? Is it overrated? Do you guys even still like the soundtrack? Find out what PT and the RS community have to say in this episode!

E26 - Sonic 4 Episode 1 (3rd September 2017) Sep 03, 2017

Show notes

You asked for this, just remember that. You requested the sound of dying cats, you absolute monster. Due to fan demand, SEGA decided 15 years after the last numbered entry that suddenly a Sonic 4 needed to exist, and we politely asked them to turn back that decision upon booting into Splash Hill. Download this episode of The Blue Zone to experience one of the most hated Sonic games of recent memory... Even in comparison to that one.
