Blazers reaction and more with Locked On Pels' Rory Callais and Oleh Kosel Oct 25, 2017

Show notes

The New Orleans Pelicans suffered their third loss in four games, and worst of all, Anthony Davis left five minutes into the contest. However, good news! His MRI revealed no structural damage, and Demarcus Cousins led the Pels to an improbable comeback and a late third quarter lead. But the Pels remain 1-3 with the Kings and Cavs looming, and should the Pels not turn things around swiftly, panic could quickly grip our city. Newly appointed LockedonPels.com's Rory Callais shares his Pelicans takes on the state of the franchise, the role players as well as the three highest paid Pels, and discusses why things could look very different in just one week's time. LAL Recap with Hosts Trevor Ritchie and Oleh Kosel Oct 23, 2017

Show notes

The New Orleans Pelicans nearly collapsed again before newcomer Jameer Nelson steadied the ship in his spectacular debut. After leading by as many as 22 points in the third, the Lakers stormed back with Lonzo Ball on the bench taking the lead early in the fourth. The Lakers left the Pels bruised and battered in the third, literally, as AD took a nasty elbow to the head, and Boogie richoteted off Dante Cunningham and fell to the ground. Both players would return to action, and finish out the Pelicans first victory of the 2017/18 season, that saw many fans flinging themselves overboard in disgust late, and then breathing into a respirator by the time the clock said 0:00. Jameer Nelson Reaction with Big Picture Boys Oct 22, 2017

Show notes

The New Orleans Pelicans signed Jameer Nelson yesterday in a report published by Shams Carania, and released bench unit scoring guard Jordan Crawford to make space on the roster for the veteran point guard. Jordan Crawford dubbed "Instant Grits," was a popular late season addition last season, and averaged 39% from deep, but unfortunately and unguaranteed contract made him the most moveable piece at a time when the Pelicans seem desperate for depth at the point guard position. Enter Jameer Nelson. The former All Star with the Orlando Magic enters his 14th season with the Pels after having finished last season in Chris Finch's system with the Denver Nuggets. Nelson averaged nine and five on 39% from three, 44% from the field. He should provide leadership at the point, as well as relinquish Jrue Holiday back to his more comfortable two position. GSW Recap with the Big Picture Boys, Travis and Trevor Oct 21, 2017

Show notes

The New Orleans Pelicans and Golden State Warriors head into their second game of the year with one thing in common, both being losers of their opening night matchups with the Grizzlies and Rockets respectively. However, the Warriors were much more impressive in their faltering, having lost a sure fire buzzer beater to but .1 of a second. However, the Pelicans are home, and you can best believe Anthony Davis will try to feast on the slow footed Zaza and/or 6 footf 6 defensive player of the year, Draymond Green. But with the role players coming up oh so small last Wednesday, will it be enough? The Big Picture Boys recap all of these questions and much, more! And hey, we like you.
