Why Does The WH Even Bother Having Press Briefings? Mar 12, 2019
    Show notes

Sarah Huckabee Sanders held her first WH press briefing for the first time in 42 days. It was confrontational, it was not helpful, and it was full of lies. So why do we even have these briefings at all? WH reporters should boycott these propaganda stunts.

The Democrats announced that the DNC will take place in Milwaukee, WI! It's the first time that they've held a convention in the heartland in 100 years! Maybe they're getting the message?

Paul Manafort Gets A Lenient Sentence. Could A Pardon Be Far Behind? Mar 08, 2019
    Show notes

Paul Manafort was sentenced to 47 months in jail. It's a VERY lenient sentence for someone who has done the damage that he's done. It goes against the recommended sentencing that Robert Mueller suggested. Now the question is... Will Trump pardon him?

Democrats continue to form a circular firing squad around Rep Ilhan Omar. She said nothing wrong, but that didn't stop House Democrats from forcing a vote to condemn her comments in an "anti-hate" resolution. They took the GOP's bait once again. Shameful.

Will The Republican Senate ACTUALLY Stand Up To Trump? Mar 06, 2019
    Show notes

The Republican Senate will take a vote to either support or denounce Donald Trump's national emergency declaration. There have been a handful of Republicans who have voiced their concern over Trump's drastic measure, but will they actually walk the walk and vote against Trump?

The field of 2020 candidates continues to materialize. There were a few potential Democratic candidates who said they will NOT run in 2020. What does that mean to the larger field? And does Bernie still have the energy that he had in 2016?

The Fox News White House Gets Exposed Mar 05, 2019
    Show notes

Jane Mayer from the New Yorker wrote a blistering profile of the Trump White House and its obsession with Fox News. Trump is in daily communications with the hosts on the network and actually allows the narrative on Fox to dictate how he runs the White House. This isn't state-run media. It's a media-run state.

Hillary Clinton officially rules out running for President in 2020. Good! Now Democrats can focus on all of the wonderful candidates already in the race.

A Rambling Donald Trump Addresses The CPAC Loyal Mar 04, 2019
    Show notes

Over the weekend, Donald Trump went to CPAC to address his loyal fans. It was a rambling, nonsensical speech that ran over 2 hours. It was officially the longest speech of his presidency. That's a terrifying thought.

Will the Senate vote to shut down Trump's national emergency declaration? Rand Paul is the latest GOP Senator to say he'll vote against it. Do you believe him?

The White House is still trying to clean up the mess that Trump created over Otto Warmbier. John Bolton, Trump's national security advisor, says that his opinion on his comments "doesn't matter."

Congress Grills Michael Cohen Behind Closed Doors Mar 01, 2019
    Show notes

In a closed door meeting, Michael Cohen met with members of Congress for a third day of testimony. While we don't have the details, Rep. Adam Schiff says that we'll soon get a chance to learn what he said. We'll just have to wait and see!

Donald Trump continues to give legitimacy to autocrats. He said that Kim Jong Un knew nothing about the terrible treatment of Otto Warmbier. This is after Warmbier was locked up in a North Korea prison and mistreated to the point where he died. Why can't he stand up to ANYONE?

Michael Cohen Delivers Devastating Testimony Feb 28, 2019
    Show notes

Michael Cohen made his way to Congress on Wednesday. While Cohen has a long history of being a liar and a cheat, he brought actual evidence that Donald Trump broke the law on multiple occasions. It was a brutal day for Donald Trump. Michael Cohen says Trump is a racist, a con man, a liar, a cheater, and much much else. If you believe Cohen, Donald Trump absolutely committed multiple crimes.

Not only that, Donald Trump shut down his summit with Kim Jong Un after he walked away from a nuclear deal. In other words, it was a total waste of time. What a disaster.

We talk to Joe Perticone from Business Insider, Ginger Gibson from Reuters and Eliza Collins from USA Today!

Michael Cohen Will Tell America That Trump Is A Racist, A Criminal and A Liar Feb 27, 2019
    Show notes

Michael Cohen comes to Capitol Hill to testify to Congress today. According to his leaked remarks, he will accuse Donald Trump of breaking the law WHILE he was President of the United States. He says he knew about the Wikileaks story and worked with Roger Stone to get the story out there. He will accuse him of being a racist. Bottom line: There will be plenty of evidence to impeach Trump after these remarks, but will the GOP actually do anything about it?

The House has voted to block Trump's "national emergency." The Senate is up next. Even Mitch McConnell can't give a definitive statement as to whether or not the declaration is legal.... But he still supports it.

We talk to Matt Ford from The New Republic, Irvin McCullough from the Government Accountability Project and Matt Ford from HuffPost!
