They discuss what inspired the creation of DuckCast and the idea of bringing multiple factors that influence duck migration together in one interactive map. The guys break down how the platform works and how it can help hunters track where birds are moving and identify potential opportunities throughout the waterfowl season.

Danny and Allen also explain how long it took to develop DuckCast and what went into creating a tool capable of putting all of this information together. As more hunters begin using the platform and contributing their own data, DuckCast will continue to fine-tune its information and become even more accurate.

Jeff Stanfield and Andy Shaver are joined by Mark Carpenter, who is just two weeks removed from open-heart surgery after discovering he was on a crash course toward what is commonly known as the “Widow Maker” heart attack.

Mark opens up about the shocking revelation and how it completely derailed his plans to spend the winter goose hunting in Oklahoma with one of his close friends, “Mags” Kmetz. What was supposed to be a season spent chasing geese quickly became a much different battle as Mark faced a major heart surgery and the long road to recovery.

The guys also discuss the mental and emotional battle that comes after open-heart surgery, something Mark says people often don't talk about. He shares the challenges of recovering physically while also dealing with the uncertainty, frustration, and reality of having just gone through a life-changing medical procedure.

Mark also talks about some of the unexpected and difficult parts of the surgery and recovery that he never imagined would be part of the experience. It's an honest conversation about heart health, recovery, mental toughness, and the perspective that comes from realizing just how quickly life can change.

Jeff Stanfield and Andy Shaver are joined by Sele Sainristil, the wife of Washington Commanders defensive back Mike Sainristil, for a conversation about family, football, and building a life away from the spotlight of the NFL.

Mike Sainristil was a second-round pick by the Washington Commanders in the 2024 NFL Draft after a standout career at Michigan. He was named MVP of the 2023 Big Ten Championship Game and came up with the game-clinching interception against Alabama that helped Michigan win the National Championship.

Since moving to Washington, D.C., Sele and Mike have started a farm of their own, complete with a collection of farm animals that Sele cares for every day. She explains how the farm grew from its beginnings and why creating a connection to animals, the outdoors, and a simpler way of life has become so important to their family.

Sele also shares what her daily life looks like while raising children, caring for the animals, and supporting her husband through the demands of being a professional athlete. She discusses the importance of keeping her family grounded despite Mike's success on the football field and the challenges and rewards that come with life in an NFL family.
