Show notes

Theme: The Isaiah Scroll Your Future Now!

Based on two converging miracles, this video series deals with the very exciting and significant events that occurred on November 29, 1947.
Further, those two miracles were based on an event set in motion some 2000 years before when a Biblical scroll was put in a jar and hidden from view in a cave near the Dead Sea.
These videos will explore and show the reactions of various groups of people at the time of the discovery of the scrolls and what has happened since.
The intended result is to ensure that present-day viewers see the case for the genuineness of the scrolls and the unique testimony that the Isaiah scroll has for our times.
Our audience is invited to see the future of the nation of Israel following the purpose of YHWH and recorded by Isaiah as it relates to their future.

Israel, Hamas, Hezbollah – 3 Studies (Ken Whitehead) Mar 15, 2024

Show notes

The Christadelphians present a three part series showing how Bible prophecies from thousands of years ago impact the Middle East conflict right now. Palestinians gained their name from the ancient Philistines who lived in the area around modern-day Gaza. Bible prophecies speak of this looming last-day conflict involving Gaza, Lebanon and Israel, just prior to the Battle of Armageddon. The battle will centre on the future of Jerusalem, the Temple Mount and the Dome of the Rock. The Bible shows how Jesus Christ will return to judge the world in righteousness and bring a time of peace and harmony for all mankind, ruling the world from Jerusalem for a thousand years. In this time, Jews and Arabs, indeed all the world, will be blessed by the presence on earth of God’s Son, our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. The present conflicts in Israel and many other places are signs that the Lord’s return is near, and we must be living our lives in faithful godly ways as we wait patiently for his coming. See the whole series of three half-hour videos: Part 1 – Philistines – The Old Hatred Part 2 – The Arabs and Armageddon Part 3 – Israel, Palestine, Lebanon – God’s Solution

Looking forward to the Judgement seat of Christ -5 studies Mar 15, 2024

Show notes

Description: This subject is rarely discussed in Christian communities – probably as most denominations do not teach the bible truth concerning the literal Judgement that will take place at the return of Christ to the Earth, rather professing the false truth that judgement will take place at point of death and result in the believer either descending to hell, a place of eternal torment or ascending to Heaven for eternal bliss – neither are scriptural truth’s.

Show notes

Even on the cross, Jesus prayed with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared God. The Lord’s life was one full of prayer, an example for us to follow.

The Text of the New Testament – is it authentic? 3- Studies (John Thorpe) Mar 15, 2024

Show notes

There are very many early witnesses to the text of the New Testament, and there are places where they do not agree with one another. This video is about how one should go about comparing variant readings to decide what the original text would have been. The method used to analyse variants must be based on a knowledge of the witnesses available. Critical texts such as the United Bible Societies text or the Nestle-Aland text have lists of variants in the margins, with lists of those witnesses which support them. These can be used to show the readings that appear in any witness to the text. There are so many witnesses that it is often necessary to use computer methods to compare them and produce a final conclusion.
