1 Timothy 5:17-25 - Avoiding Extremes When It Comes To The Pastor Dec 30, 2025

Show notes

There are 2 extremes people fall into when it comes to their pastor: 1. their pastor is perfect, or, 2. the pastor can't do anything right. In today's episode, Jenn delves into 1 Timothy 5, which explains a more moderate approach as to how we should view our pastors:

Good pastors (those who meet the elder qualifications) should be given double honor
Yes, pastors should be paid
Accusations against an elder should only be listened to if there are multiple witnesses
Paul tells the church to be impartial toward their pastors
