Key Lessons:
- Take time to ask yourself the question, “What type of leader do I want to be?”. Actively work to become that leader. Challenge yourself and have to courage to act against any behaviors that conflict with the answer to that question.
- Candid leaders have the confidence to be authentic in their spaces. Psychological safety is needed to create pathways for candidness. Confidence is often what we want but courage/audacity is the first step we need to get there.
- We all have a responsibility to create candidness in the workplace!
