DVR and Al look into whether Jo Adell is worth the remainder of your FAB budget as well as some hitters having a surprising run in recent weeks. They also consider some of the top two-start wavier options as well as a handful of one-start streamers to consider. Are Tyler Clippard and Giovanny Gallegos worth adding and is there anyone in the current Royals, Yankees or Reds closer mix worth pursuing?

Beller and Al look at how sell-offs have created opportunities for numerous players, particularly on the Cubs and Nationals. They also consider the increasing FAB appeal of pitchers like Triston McKenzie, Zach Thompson and recent callup Reid Detmers and some relievers who are now candidates for saves.

Beller and Al run through FAB and waiver claims for the week of July 26 through August 1 on this episode of The Athletic Fantasy Baseball Podcast. How interested should you be in Brandon Marsh? We're now a week into the second half of the MLB season, and there's a good chance you've already made the most important moves you can make for your fantasy baseball team. At this point, you may just need to sit back and trust the players who have gotten you to this point. So, who can you trust? Who might be playing a little over his head? Beller and DVR try to determine that on this episode of The Athletic Fantasy Baseball Podcast.
The guys do that by checking out rest-of-season projections from The BAT X and discussing whether or not they expect the players to hit or fall short of their numbers. Can Bryan Reynolds keep this up? Can Jake Cronenworth providing five-category value? Is Harrison Bader set to be a sneaky power/speed guy the rest of the way? The guys get into those three, and plenty more.

Nando, Ian and DVR discuss their preferences atop the first-year player draft ranks for keeper/dynasty leagues coming out of the 2021 MLB Draft, a deep sleeper for the Yankees, Ian's continued faith in Wily Peralta, Jarren Duran v. Gleyber Torres in a dynasty league, and whether now is the time to target Gavin Lux in long-term leagues.

DVR and Beller sift through the waiver-wire before first full week of second-half games. Jarren Duran's promotion opens up at least one big-bid player in many redraft leagues, while a few bats back from injury, and a pitching prospect in Los Angeles are also on the radar this weekend.

Wednesday is the one day between Opening Day and the final day of the season that doesn't feature any MLB action whatsoever, but never fear! Beller and DVR are here to fill the void with this episode of The Athletic Fantasy Baseball Podcast.
The guys take a look ahead to the second half of the season, considering 10 players they'll be watching closely coming out of the break. Can Christian Yelich and Lucas Giolito get it going? Did Luis Castillo figure something out over the last month? Is Carlos Correa finally having the season that was promised? The answers to those questions could be crucial in fantasy leagues for the rest of the season.
Plus, Beller throws a random quiz at DVR. It's like high school all over again!
