2nd and 3rd House Birth Chart Readings Sep 15, 2024

In episode 462 astrologer Chris Brennan hosts a live birth chart reading session with listeners to talk about second and third house placements in their birth chart. This is a followup to episode 461 of the podcast where we talked about the meaning of the 2nd house in astrology and focused on looking at example charts of celebrities, and in this episode the goal was to interview some listeners and ask them about their placements directly. Originally this was intended to just be an episode talking about the 2nd house, but as we went through the examples the 3rd house kept coming up and we kept being pulled in that direction, so I decided to just go with it and see where it took us. It ended up being really fruitful, and we ended up learning a lot about the 2nd and 3rd houses in the process, and each person shared some really interesting and powerful stories that helped to make the meaning of those houses really come alive. The Second House in Astrology Sep 05, 2024

In episode 461 astrologers Chris Brennan and Leisa Schaim do an in-depth exploration of the meaning of the second house in astrology, and explain what it signifies in a birth chart by looking at dozens of celebrity examples. In traditional astrology the second house is associated with the material world, and encompasses topics such as money, possessions, livelihood, and financial stability. It represents the descent into the material realm, because the second house is the sign that follows the rising sign, and in the whole sign house system it is the first sign after the Ascendant that is fully submerged under the earth. Astrology Forecast for September 2024 Sep 01, 2024

In episode 460 astrologers Chris Brennan and Austin Coppock look ahead at the astrological forecast for September 2024. We cover news and events in the first hour, and then at 01:03:00 we start looking at September's astrology. The astrology of September features the beginning of eclipse season, with a lunar eclipse in Pisces taking place in the middle of the month, followed by a solar eclipse in Libra in early October. Early in the month Mars moves into the sign of Cancer, which is important because it will return to this sign after turning retrograde in early November, and thus September marks the beginning of an extremely long Mars transit that will last until the middle of next year. Also notable this month is Pluto returning to Capricorn for its final transit through this sign, with it eventually departing for Aquarius for good in November. In episode 457 astrologers Chris Brennan and Austin Coppock look ahead at the astrological forecast for August 2024. We spend the first hour of the show discussing recent news and events surrounding the Mars-Uranus conjunction over the past few weeks, and then in the second hour we jump into looking at the astrology of August. The first part of the month is dominated by Mercury going retrograde in Virgo and Leo, and then in the second week Mars moves into a tens conjunction with Jupiter as well as a square with Saturn. The biggest outer planet alignment of the month is Jupiter squaring Saturn in the third week, and around that time Venus in Virgo swings in to square Mars and Jupiter and then oppose Saturn. By the end of the month Mercury finishes its retrograde period and stations direct, while Venus departs from Virgo and moves into its home sign of Libra. In episode 455 astrologer Chris Brennan does live chart readings with listeners to talk about the meaning of 1st house placements in their birth chart. This workshop was recorded a few weeks ago in preparation for the longer episode on the 1st house in astrology that was released last week, titled The First House in Astrology: Planets in the Rising Sign. The purpose of the livestream was to gain a deeper understanding about what the first house means by interviewing some people with prominent 1st house placements about their life. The First House in Astrology: Planets in the Rising Sign Jul 07, 2024

In episode 454 astrologers Chris Brennan and Nick Dagan Best explain the meaning of the first house in astrology, and explore its significations by looking at different planets in the rising sign and Ascendant. We open the episode by talking about the general meaning of the first house, and then we transition into discussing each of the planets in the 1st house, starting with the Moon and then working our way through the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. We also spend some time talking about the ruler of the Ascendant in the houses, the rulers of other houses in the 1st house, and planets transiting the first house. This is the start of a new series where we will do a deep dive into the significations of each of the 12 houses of the birth chart, explaining what each house means and showing how different placements in that house have manifested in the lives of individuals.
