On this week’s episode of The Ann & Phelim Scoop, we discuss the FBI Lovebirds: Undercovers premiere at the conservative conference and our exciting meeting in the White House with President Donald Trump. We share the highlights of that conversation and some of the “swag” we received from President Trump.

FBI Lovebirds: Undercovers was a smash hit in Washington, D.C. this weekend. Unsurprisingly, the leftist media isn’t too happy about it. We discuss the best (and worst) coverage of the play. Outlets from The New York Times to The Washington Post had plenty to say about FBI Lovebirds: Undercovers. We also discuss fears over a possible Coronavirus epidemic and how so many people have taken to “panic buying” because of it. We discuss a recent trip to Trader Joe’s and how the store’s customers are preparing. Also, we cover how these fears are showing us just how dependent we are on China here in the United States.

We also have an update on the infamous Josh Fox! Apparently, the filmmaker’s girlfriend is just as much as a hypocrite as he is! We discuss. Additionally, we give you the latest updates and our thoughts on the current presidential race. Finally, we round out the show talking about the great Andrew Breitbart on the eighth anniversary of his passing. We would have loved to hear his commentary on President Donald Trump.

On this week’s episode of The Ann & Phelim Scoop,we preview the play’s premiere at the conservative conference this weekend. The left has gone absolutely unhinged at the thought of CPAC attendees seeing the truth behind the Russia collusion hoax. But it isn’t just the left - some on the right have displayed the same outrage. We discuss.

Speaking of deranged leftists, we also touch on the latest from the campaign trail. It looks like Bernie Sanders has locked up his party’s nomination and members of the liberal elite aren’t having it. We also cover some climate change news and the very creepy move Mike Bloomberg is making in an attempt to “fight” it.

During our time in New York, we’ve spent some time in a few bookstores and are shocked to see how much “woke literature” is on the shelves and directed at children! From feminism to intersectionality, it seems like every one of the left’s favorite issues has made its way into children’s literature. We also cover two absurd articles from the New York Times and talk about a new form of activism: “rage baking.” We also have a special *Not* Crazy California segment - it’s time for some good news from the west coast! We wrap up the show talking about the film The Hunt, which is finally making its way to movie theaters very soon. We discuss why conservatives may be wrong to condemn it.

Dr. Loftus discussed her work as well as NYU’s cancellation of her scheduled campus lecture - likely in response to her work with the Weinstein team.

Hollywood actor and activist Mark Ruffalo recently posted a video detailing his support for Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and why he thinks it's time to “ban” fracking. Ironically, Ruffalo refers to a scene from Gasland in which a homeowner sets his tap water on fire, supposedly due to fracking. We’ve discussed that clip - and why it’s bogus - in length on past podcast episodes. It’s also the scene that got us interested in the issue of fracking. It’s time for another fact-check.

In this week’s episode we celebrate the life of our dear friend Orson Bean who passed away this past weekend. Orson was a Hollywood hero and a legend who brought joy to so many people through his incredible career in entertainment. He was a strong man of faith and family and he will be missed dearly by so many.

Also in this week’s episode we talk about the onslaught of attacks that we’ve received from the left since the announcement that FBI Lovebirds has been invited to CPAC. Brexit has finally arrived! Just a few short days ago, The UK has officially left the European Union.. On this week’s episode of The Ann & Phelim Scoop, we discuss this victory for democracy and discuss why the left isn’t too happy about this development (even thought the left were once the most ardent Brexiteers).

We also made a very difficult admission on this week’s announcement. On one very specific issue we have discovered that we actually agree with Michael Moore! The filmmaker hit the campaign trail recently and discussed his frustration with Michael Bloomberg being allowed on the Democrat debate stage and how the Democrat establishment really really like rich establishment candidates.

Also while we were in New York, we decided to take a trip to the horrifying new art exhibit in Manhattan, “Abortion is Normal: An Emergency Art Show.” The art show was created to highlight the importance of abortion and what Ann and I found so strange when we visited the exhibit was that there were no pictures of **actual** abortions.

Perhaps that’s because abortion is not normal or trendy . . . ? In this week’s episode you’ll hear the outrageous things we found at the exhibit. Lastly, our movie of the week is a wonderful film about Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. It is an incredibly moving documentary that hits theaters this weekend. If you find time, please get out and see the film. As we discovered when we did the Gosnell movie, opening weekend is very important . . . so make a plan to see it soon.

Hillary Clinton just won’t go away! Hulu announced that they will be releasing a new documentary on the failed 2016 candidate. Will it include evidence of her corruption or whitewash her history? We suspect it will be the latter.

Josh Fox is back! You might remember Fox as the producer of the documentaries Gasland and Gasland II, which helped to destroy the fracking industry in upstate New York, leaving thousands of farmers out of work. Fox also has a history of lying about fracking and we bring you the latest lies from the filmmaker on this week’s episode.

James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas is out with another shocking video, this time about the Bernie Sanders campaign. A Sanders campaign staffer was caught on video praising gulags and preaching violence.

Also, “woke” Twitter exploded recently after a video of actor Vince Vaughn speaking with President Trump at a football game went viral. It’s the most recent case of Trump Derangement Syndrome!

A new art show entitled “Abortion is Normal” is currently open in New York - you won’t believe some of the pieces on display. Unsurprisingly, none of them include any information about the actual abortion procedure - something we outlined in our 2018 film Gosnell. Finally, Ann provides instructions on making a delicious - and easy - bread pudding that we’re sure will be a hit at your brunch table.

It’s been a busy week at the Unreported Story Society. Phelim talks about his recent run in with the Los Angeles “homeless” population and how he managed to stop a thief escape with a very expensive piece of property in Santa Monica -- and we have it all on video. On this first episode of 2020, we also look back to the past year and discuss our “best of” lists and the moments we’d most like to remember (or forget!) from 2019. Last year, Hollywood released some wonderful (and not-so-wonderful) films. Our favorite is Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. And did you hear that a Canadian broadcast company edited Donald Trump out of the Christmas movie Home Alone? They claim there was an innocent explanation but Phelim and Ann are skeptical.
