    The Animal That Changed You

The Animal That Changed You explores how extraordinary people have been changed by extraordinary animals. In this weekly show, Katya (writer and Life Coach for Dog People) and Jenny (founder and president of Better Together Dog Rescue) share their stories about soul-level relationships with animals or listen to a guest talk about how loving an animal has led them to where they are today. This co-hosting duo is not afraid to dive into the ups and downs that come with caring about animals or to be vulnerable and real about why increasing our compassion for them is good for the whole world.

Rebecca Corry is not afraid to speak her mind and put her heart on the line. In this week's episode, she joins us to do both as she talks about her beloved Angel, a most noble, gentle soul wrapped in a Pittie body, who brought Rebecca to her purpose. Now this funny lady is the founder and president of her incredible nonprofit and a fierce advocate for the inherently good Pitbull type dogs she works tirelessly to provide spay and neuter for, to help save, and to love. Rebecca and Katya discuss broken systems, the need to get in the fight for what's right, and the importance of accepting a little inconvenience so you can experience the magic of being changed by an animal.

It Is All About Mileage with Henry and Finn Oct 06, 2021
    Show notes

If you want to hear how a Puerto Rican street dog got to live his best life, listen to this week's episode with the adventurous spirit that is Henry Friedman. We talk about how every foster pet teaches us something, about the power of soul dogs, and about how traveling with his best boy, Finn, changed his experience of van dwelling. Henry recounts for us how he followed his curiosity to live without walls, and then as if the Universe wanted to give him a gift for it, here came Finn to help him access his emotions, his dreams, his gratitude, and his purpose. Henry and Finn became a social media sensation overnight, but for our guest it's really about coexisting with Finn. Their relationship helps him showcase the best parts of himself, makes people receive him without swords, and inspires him to give back. What a duo they are - their freedom is high, their work is meaningful, and at the end of the day Henry knows it's all because he said yes to a rescue dog.

You gotta follow Henry and Finn on Instagram - promise you won't regret being a part of their journey!

Focus On The Donut And Not The Hole with Gavin Polone Sep 22, 2021
    Show notes

Few people walk the walk like today's guest and do it with such authenticity, regardless of who likes it or not. Gavin Polone is a film and TV producer and director, a magazine writer, and a talent manager, but above of all he is a voice for animals. In this episode, he opens up about Chiquita, the neighborhood cat who changed him when he was just a boy being bullied, and all the animals who have shaped his life since. We discuss the patience cats demand to earn their trust, if it's harder to love humans or believe they suck, and a deep desire to befriend a raven. His dedication is constant, as is his commitment to veganism, and his outlook is truly inspiring. One thing is for certain: there is nobody like Gavin Polone. And the animal world is better for it.
