The family of faith should possess the qualities of wisdom and discernment, and should be careful around the worldly evils of power and money. In our everyday lives, we deal with four different spheres of influence, from our small circle to the cosmic sphere. In our interactions with ourselves and our families, Kirk encourages listeners to "savor the small," and focus our attention on beauty of the little things. The next sphere, the medium-sized circle, consists of an individual's workplace, friends, and the happenings of their country. In this circle, we are encouraged to "make much of the medium," and answer God's calling to bring heaven to earth. Thirdly is the large sphere, which entails the worldwide happenings that we have very little to no control of. In this space, we must "let go of the large," and give it up to our sovereign and loving God. Finally, the fourth circle is the cosmic sphere, which is everything that God is doing behind the scenes. When thinking about this circle, we should "celebrate the cosmic," for it is in this circle that we are allowed to let go of our own decisions and trust that there is Someone who is in control, even when the other three spheres of our lives feel on the edge of collapse.
