Full Show | Rick Ross's Zoo, Hunter Biden Found Guilty, Journalist Puts On Black Face To Study Racism, and MORE Jun 12, 2024

Show notes

In this episode, we dive into a series of captivating stories starting with our "Big Up" segment, where we applaud Garcia for her resilience in not fumbling the bag despite the chaos at Fort Lauderdale International Airport when her Spirit Airlines flight was canceled. On the flip side, our "Let Down" segment highlights the misguided attempt of Sam Forster to explore racial issues in his book, "Seven Shoulders: Taxonomizing Racism in Modern America," by donning blackface, a deeply offensive and misinformed approach. We'll also cover the landmark conviction of three Valencia soccer fans sentenced to 8 months in prison for racially abusing Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr. during a May 2023 La Liga game.

We'll shift gears to "Black Around the World," our segment dedicated to broadening our experiences and perspectives within the Black diaspora. Additionally, we’ll discuss Hunter Biden's recent guilty verdict on charges related to a 2018 handgun purchase, and Rick Ross’s ambitious plan to open a zoo on his Atlanta property. Stick around for some practical advice in our "Am I Trippin" segment, and test your knowledge with a Black pop quiz. Join us for an episode filled with news, insights, and a celebration of Black culture.
