Adam Mares and Tim Legler break down an incredible opening night in the NBA, starting with the OKC Thunder’s double-overtime win over the Houston Rockets. They discuss the Rockets’ ultra-tall lineup, Kevin Durant’s debut in Houston, and standout performances from Chet Holmgren, SGA, and Alperen Sengun, who went off from three. The guys also talk about Cason Wallace’s breakout skill, Ajay Mitchell’s surprising impact, and whether we’re witnessing the start of another basketball evolution. Later, they react to Jimmy Butler’s fit with the Warriors, LeBron’s body language, and DeAndre Ayton’s disappointing Lakers debut, before closing with their picks for the best NBA games of the night.
