After appearing on seemingly any talk show that would take him and attempt to perpetuate the story that he had been the victim of a racially-charged attack, Empire actor Jussie Smollet was found guilty of criminal misconduct. Investigators discovered the story to be a hoax, devised and planned by Smollet himself.
