    Trudeau, in France today, has signed on to this 'Christ church call' – this is a pledge to take action against on-line hate, extremism and what government/social media companies deem fake news. But there are no details on what is being called the Digital charter. The US isn’t joining this effort citing free speech concerns—and while this may be well intentioned this is a slippery slope to censorship. One liberal MP today proposed setting up a separate judicial body to deal with offenders.

    Team Trudeau are using the abortion fight in the US to play politics here at home. Even though Doug Ford, and Andrew Scheer have made it clear that this issue is closed. Trudeau is now fundraising off of it. Global news got a copy of this email and in it, it names 12 Conservatives who attended an anti-abortion rally on Parliament Hill last week and warns that an Andrew Scheer government will push to “reopen that debate.”

    Canada’s airline industry has been as turbulent as ever with two massive airline sales. The action kicked off Monday, when Onyx Corp. struck an agreement to purchase WestJet Airlines Ltd. for $3.5-billion. Today Air Canada has entered exclusive talks to purchase Transat A.T. Inc. DO you see this announcement of shrinking competition, or the beginning of a duel that will serve customers well?


    Clearly meatless burgers pose a threat to the beef industry, otherwise why would cattle producers be waging war? Canadian cattle producers are calling out a popular brand of veggie burgers for advertising its products as “plant-based meat,” They say that the term is inaccurate and breaks federal rules. The Quebec Cattle Producers Federation filed a complaint with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency against California-based company Beyond Meat. The crux of the complaint: the use of the term “plant-based meat”

    Terri-Lynne McClintic, serving a life sentence in the rape and murder of eight-year-old Tori Stafford, now wants compensation for her “unfair” treatment when intense public outrage forced her transfer from a healing lodge back into prison.She is seeking a review of the transfer and compensation for her ensuing loss of liberty. She is not happy with her new living arrangement.


    Amber alert went off overnight. A 3-year old has been taken by a family member. And again police were inundated by calls from people angry they had been woken up. The child was found safe. But is it time to charge people for being so stupid?


    Toronto District School Board says it’s 67 million short for its upcoming school yr budget. And there first go to is always to cut the most vulnerable. In this case bus service for special needs kids. In 2012- then McGuinty commissioned a report that would have saved the board 90 million over 2 yrs. It was ignored. But it zeroes in on the teacher absences. Out of control procurement costs. Land that could be sold off.


    MP’s unanimously passed a motion Tuesday to recognize the decades of military service by Vice-Admiral Mark Norman, and apologize to him and his family for the experience of the criminal case that ended last week.The motion was put forward by Conservative MP Lisa Raitt after question period, and received comprehensive backing from all parties, including the Liberals. This apology comes after several Cabinet Min refuse to. And Trudeau left before the vote. Does this close this chapter?


    A report released by the BC government last week reveals that Canada would be in a recession without money laundering which now adds up 200 billion in Canada. Ontario is the 2nd highest when it comes to laundering. Over 8 billion has been washed through Ontario. And the money is washed through casino’s automobiles and homes. And it’s the reason housing is unaffordable. Realtors are now asking a land registry be set up. But why has no one in law enforcement or government done anything?


    YES - NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh says his party will cut Canada’s emissions almost in half over the next decade as he tries to stake out a claim to the climate change agenda in the looming federal election. Today the NDP leader called on the Trudeau gov to declare an environment and climate emergency. Cancel Trans Mountain. Cut all aid to fossil fuel.
