China has escalated its abuse against the two Canadians they have kidnapped and jailed. They’ve confiscated the glasses of Michael Kovrig. Yet another abuse in retaliation over Huawei exec Mung Wazou. China is openly mocking Justin Trudeau over his comments that he has lots of global support. He can’t say for sure President Trump talked to China.. Then, we see a tweet from Liberal MP of small business and export. Mary Ng writes. “When in Beijing, you dropped by @COWSICECREAM – a true Cdn #smallbiz success story from #PrinceEdwardIsland!"

Governor General Julie Payette won't be moving into Rideau Hall, the home and workplace of every viceregal going back to Confederation, because it’s not private enough.

Over the weekend in Portland there was yet another bloody confrontation between neo-nazi groups and antifa. This has been a pretty regular feature in the city in the last couple of years. But this weekend a Conservative reporter, Andy Ngo, whose beat is to cover these protests, was attacked and left with a brain bleed, ripped ear and burns from milkshakes thrown at him which were actually quick dry cement.

New polling done for the Toronto sun with Dart polling reveals that Justin Trudeau is getting a bounce off of the angst created by the Ford government.

For all this outrage over Doug Ford’s patronage appointments, the silence is absolutely deafening on news that it really pays to be friends with Dominic Leblanc, currently minister of intergovernmental affairs, Northern affairs and internal trade.
