Coney Mountain, Goodman Mountain, and Mt Arab make up this terrific little ADK Hiking challenge and is a perfect choice for the whole family or someone who wants a lot of bang for very little buck on the summit. Today's spontaneous weekday afternoon adventure would take me up local-favorite Owl's Head just off route 73 between Lake Placid and Keene. This trail is closed on weekends so despite the 50mph wind gusts and fresh morning snow it was as good a time as any to visit this little Adirondack gem.
